Great Keyboard, would buy again
Had it for a bit over a week now and it's been great. I originally had the Razer blackwidow V1 with the green clicks switches and it was great the thing finally crapped out on me a few weeks ago. The thing lasted me forever, was super durable and felt very responsive. My biggest complaint was it was hard to clean. So I decided to go with the newest version and try the Yellow switches. I didn't like the softer yellow switches at first but have come to like them and this keyboard solved the cleaning issue. My biggest problem was actually the Macro keys on the left hand side. With my old keyboard I used the edge of they keyboard to orient my hand without looking when gaming, this makes it hard to do that because my fingers end up on the macro keys. I've started to retrain myself to position properly but it wasn't easy. Other than that this keyboard is fantastic.

Durable and well built. Survived a liquid disaster.
I have the green switch version. Durable and Chroma lighting is excellent. Put O rings in the keys to dampen slightly. Key feeling and clicks are a matter of personal preference. Spilled coffee on this one twice. I thought the keyboard was toast after the last disaster spill. Keys weren't functioning and the leds were out. I took it apart and rinsed it out the affected areas heavily with alcohol. Blew the liquid out with compressed air/compressor. Works fine now. After taking it apart I could see how good the quality was. Keyboard backplate is actually solid metal. 2 screws under the top two rubber foot pads. Careful, the pads tear easily. 18+- screws under the keys. Remove the keys to find them all.

It's a good board
Ok, so after spending a couple weeks with this board I can tell you- A couple of things I wasn't really aware of- 1) Just how much pressure I'm used to applying at rest on keys 2) How much I relied on outside esc and ctrl keys for orientation These keys are very sensitive compared to the old BW I've used for years. I've been accidentally entering a lot of keystrokes at rest. They are very quiet and soft stroking compared to the green switches in the older Black Widow I've retired. So if you want clicks, feedback or resistance look elsewhere. Believe it or not my main hesitation for getting this board was the outside left row of programmable keys. I was afraid that it would be in the way and get confused with my escape and control keys, which yes has been very challenging to get used to, but it's no fault of the board itself knowing what I was getting. I pulled up all those caps on that row and replaced with wider pudding caps for brighter distinction. Programed those keys to mirror their neighbors, esc ,Ctrl etc so that when an erroneous keystroke is made it should at least still be the function I was looking for, albeit orientation may be off from wasd. So anyway I'm having to look down a lot more at the keyboard and retraining my mind to orient off the *F key

Solid Keyboard
Fun RGB lighting, fully customizable colors within the Razer lighting program. Lighting program is easy to use with plenty of tutorials on installation. Can customize individual keys for different lighting when pressed. Extra macro buttons on the left will take some getting used to, but just imagine what all you can assign them as. Solid keyboard in terms of weight, back wings to lift up to have it at a slight angle. Keycaps nice and solid quality. These are soft and bubbly sounding in my opinion, not sharp and clicky. In prior experience with Razer, the price is a bit up there, but I would wager its worth it. Received on September 28th, 2025; will check back after a while to update review if needed.

A perfect Pokemon keyboard
This is a Razor keyboard for sure and that is what makes this item so good, this has been my go-to keyboard since I got it and I love it especially since this is a pokemon themed one that makes it even better

Shoddy Construction, Unresponsive key issues
Before I got this keyboard, I was using the 2016 edition razer blackwidow ultimate. That keyboard still works perfectly, and the only problem I had with it was that the keyboard was LOUD as heck. Enter the blackwidow v4 x with yellow switches. At first i was extremely happy with the look, feel, and materials of the keyboard, it felt very premium, and the keys were MUCH quieter. I bought it in December of 2023. By March 2024 I noticed an issue with the "P" key being unresponsive. Meaning when you press the key, there was a chance of it not registering the keypress. So if you press the key 10 times, it may only display about 5 or 6 times. Not that bad for gaming since the "P" key is hardly used. However when typing it could get very annoying. I attached a video showing me trying to press the button 3 times, followed by a space, then the button 3 times, then a space etc. You can clearly see it does not register the keypress quite often. Eventually I decided that since I paid $100+ I was going to get a working product. My RMA process started on April 20, 2024, and after many days of back and forth emails with razer trying to convince them it was a hardware, not software, issue they gave me a shipping label to send out on April 26, 2024. I received the replacement about 3 weeks later on May 17, 2024. Today on May 18, 2024 I noticed the same unresponsive key issue with the "2" key above the "W" key. This IS a big deal for gaming since it is used very often. I dont want to go through the RMA process again, and im pretty sure I cant get a refund from amazon after 4 months so this keyboard will likely just be tossed in the garbage where it belongs. A lot of time and money wasted on a sub-par product. Been using Razer keyboards and mice since about 2012 but its probably time to try a different brand to try since their quality seems to have gone down. Shame.

way better quality than expected
I've had my fair share of gaming keyboards but this one in particular feels great and was way better quality than expected. It is relatively quiet for a gaming keyboard and has excellent tactile feedback. The backlight is clean and vibrant as well. My only complaint would be the macro buttons on the left of the keyboard, but only because I am personally not used to it from previous keyboards.

Muy buena calidad
Es el primer teclado que compro. Es el estilo contemporáneo. Estoy feliz con mi compa no se siente barata hasta la cuerda usb muy reciente. Las luces son muy lindas.

Don't prefer Razer, but it's ZZZ so I made an exception
It's super clicky which I hate and it's not swappable which is absurd. The RGB is very inaccurate when setting up but when you do, it looks nice enough. I still prefer my KDA Logitech G Pro keyboard but I got this because it's miyabi <3 the keys are very nice to the touch, although I hate that the macro buttons are on the left, they're messing up with my muscle memory but I can get used to them. The keyboard is metal, cool to the touch, and heavy.

Una edición muy bonita
Los switches son un poco ruidosos pero aún así me gustó mucho el diseño y la calidad del teclado.
