The Baskerville Classic Basket Muzzle is excellent quality—very sturdy, well-made, and comfortable for my dogs. The basket design allows them to pant and drink, which was a must, and the strong TPR material feels durable and secure. I primarily use this muzzle to stop scavenging and licking, since my dogs will pick up anything they find. It works perfectly for that, especially with the additional licking guard. Sizing tip: I went one size up from the recommended measurements, based on other reviews, and I’m glad I did. If you plan to use the licking guard, definitely size up, as it reduces the interior space. Without the guard, the recommended size would fit just fine. Overall, this is a high-quality, breathable muzzle ideal for longer-nosed, medium dogs. Highly recommend—just be sure to size correctly based on how you’ll use it.

I bought these because my dogs eat plants and other things they shouldn't. I purchased two: a size 7 for my pointer and a size 8 for my lab. I was worried about the fit, but the muzzle fits each dog very well. It fits snugly against their face and the strap is adjustable for comfort. I went by the recommendations on the chart provided. My pointer is considered a pocket pointer and weighs about 46 pounds. My lab weighs about 83 pounds. I've tried the size 8 on our Golden Retriever/Lab mix. It fits him fine, too. The catch was hard to open on both, but it only happened one time for each muzzle. Since that one time, it has opened easily. Neither dog has managed to remove the muzzle. They both run around just fine and are able to pant as far as I can tell. The scavenger guard is far enough away from the end of the muzzle that my dogs have not been able reach things they shouldn't. (My lab has tried!) Any dirt is on the end, but not much on the guard inside. They've been wearing them daily since March. The muzzles seem to be sturdy. Even with daily use, they have held up well so far. Both dogs have carried on as usual while wearing them.

Size 10 muzzle fits great on my Euro Doberman, only problem is the clasp!! Sometimes it works and sometimes I can’t get it open to get it on or off. One side gets stuck (only one side will not push down at all) and it will not release. This is the second one I’ve received and they both do the same thing. If the clasp wasn’t defective I would give it 5 stars!!!!

My dog has issues sneaking cat turds. The only way I can prevent him from eating the secret morsels of kitty poop is to basically muzzle him. This was a solution I wish I would have figured out years ago I don't know why I never thought of it. And my vet certainly wouldn't have suggested it, as my dog alone has backed up bills quite literally keeping their doors open. Didn't have to use this long to get a review up. The good. It fits without a strap directly on their forehead. Some muzzles have multiple straps this one is easy with really only one you need to worry about. It also has a lock on it which is awesome. Cool color too. The bad. It may be moldable or something to a degree but it isn't soft or rubbery. It's like straight plastic. The sizing seems okay but it is larger than I expected also. After one walk it is incredibly banged up from my dog dragging it or sniffing on the ground and brush. So durability is questionable even early on. The pad that runs on the inside top of the muzzle is not attached to the muzzle it moves around and floats so I had to epoxy it. And the buckle lock is annoying but necessary for some people I may remove the lock part. The fitment is odd. It's not sized to length for the cage it's sized for the removable gate inside. So if you want it to be properly fitted you should keep the gate. Overall I think it's pretty decent but time is going to tell. I've burned up a lot of dog gear and this may last a bit but we will have to see. Say no to cat turds, get a muzzle.

Good value for the money, seems sturdy, it doesn’t slip and was easy to adjust. So far so good. I’ve had it about a week. I have a rock, stick, and leaf eater when outside and this has prevented him from grazing. He can bark and without the guard in place take treats. The only complaint I had was I had to return the first one because it was too small. I followed the guide on measuring but it was too small. I went up two sizes only because my pup is eight months old. He has a little growth in two sizes up but this one still fits. Went from size 3 to a 5. I have a 25# Brittany with a 7” snout. I would purchase this item again when this one wears out if it does.

In theory this is a great design. We have a young Labrador who likes to snack on dog poop. This anti-forage design seemed like a good plan but the construction is not worth the price charged. It *mostly* prevents her snacking, although she still squishes some through every now and again. The buckle on the adjustable strap is a pain to use. It’s so small the lock and unlock position need to be toggled multiple times to actually get it to buckle. And the “comfort” strap that goes across bridge of the muzzle is too small and the two points that hold the felt broke almost immediately so I had to hot glue it sort of back in place and redo it as it comes loose again. Our dog rubs her nose along the ground still after 2 months of use, she has created opened wounds on the top of her nose. So I added adhesive felt to the entire inside where it rests in her muzzle (the kind you use on bottom of furniture legs). Obviously this is my own way of trying to make it more comfortable for her and I redo that every couple of weeks. I will say the actual muzzle itself, is made of seemingly durable material if your dog doesn’t scrape it along the ground/patio. She has started to wear hers down as shown in the photo. The middle support bar is almost worn through completely. Our dog will not drink with it on so she does not stay outside to play very long when it’s warm out. Our other two dogs have not caused any issues trying to play or anything. I watch pretty closely when they are playing so she doesn’t get caught on anything. I probably would not reorder this product for the retail price.

I was using this on my dog because she likes to attack RC cars. It’s a slim fit which is fine for my dog but just be aware for others. Also i only used it 3 times and it became flimsy and bent if she pushed against it, meaning she could Bite through the muzzle. The clip did not work and was extremely difficult to put on and off. Overall the price isn’t bad for the poor quality.

Acheté pour ma chienne Podenca. Je craignais qu'elle soit beaucoup trop large pour sa truffe très longue et très fine. Mais en fait, c est effectivement très large, mais la chienne apprécie beaucoup. C est le modèle qui lui convient le mieux de toutes les muselière qu'elle a eu. Les deux branches en plastique qui passent sur les joues sont super efficaces . La museliere est bien stable. C est la première qu'elle n'arrive pas a s'enlever. Le fait de ne pas avoir de lanière qui passe entre les deux yeux ne pause finalement pas de problème. La couleur discrète et accordée au poil est moins anxiogène pour les passants.

Strong and good safe strap, much better than the one I first brought of a cheap website that lasted 5 mins! Fits comfortably on my dog and has a little bit of padding for top of nose area and it’s lightweight but well made
