This sight is so much better then the stock brass bead my eyes pick it up right off . It even looks great on my 1187 all black but this bead . I recommend this bead sight .

This is a great product for replacing lost or unusable front sight bead.

Product description is accurate, like it very much but the color green visibility doesn't jump out at you, it sort of vanishes. I may buy another but in the brighter red florescent. Just make sure of your thread type. Installation is easy a little blue lock-tight is suggested or clear finger nail polish. Functionality is fine but as mentioned I would go with the red. For the money it's great, well made a metal make up. Gave it a 4 because of the color green not as bright as I thought it might be.

Tiny! But adequate if you have decent vision. If you have less than decent vision I'd assume this front sight would be very difficult to see. Lights up green in the light. Very easy install. Just screws right in. Add a lil locktite. Will need to be filed down a bit as it sticks into the tube just a bit.

Good for the first 5 rounds, then it broke off. Was torqued to spec, and I used loctite as well but it was nowhere to be found after the first tube of shells.

I got this sight since it was so cheap and was a quick screw on to my Mossberg. The 5-40 thread is the correct one and you will have to file it down somewhat so it doesn't protrude into the barrel. I used locktite to make sure it wouldn't back out after shooting and I haven't had a single issue. Shot around 60 rounds through it and the sight never budged. Definitely better than the original brass bead site. Although the setup is a little finicky with all the steps I still give it 5 stars since the package doesn't say anything about mossberg.

Fit my 11/87 fine but it's not bright at all and isn't much of a upgrade from the original bead wouldn't recommend

After reading reviews of the truglow sight for a mossberg 500 I knew it would be small. Its a replacement for the little gold stock bead the mossberg 500 comes with, its very small. This sight is actually a little bit bigger then the original but that isnt saying much. I give it five stars because knowing that, this is in my opinion an improvement from the original. I did have to file off a tiny bit from the bottom of the screw and a tiny bit from under the base of the sight above where the screw starts just to make it all flush. I used a set of tiny files I have that I got at harbor freight for just under $5

Threads were perfect for the 391, except that as in all threaded items, when straight, it is not at it's tightest point. Loctite was used to keep it parallel.

Super easy to install and upgrade from a brass bead to this awesome neon-green truglo!

Not really got the light collecting abilities of some of it's slightly brothers. There is a slightly more extended version that is much more obvious then this one

Tried installing this on my shotgun. Very familiar with truglo and never usually had any issues on this one however when I was screwing it in, I was able to get it all the way without much resistance until it just broke leaving the thread inside my shotgun and the sight in the palm of my hand. Not sure if it was just poor construction on this particular unit or just a bad product in general but I am less than impressed as I have no way to get the thread out
