Excellent non slip surface in a epoxy shower floor

I painted the product on and let dry for 7 days and took a shower to see how it worked before I did the second bathtub, there was no change in the sickness of the floor absolutely a waste of money.

I ordered this anti-slip coating to use in our newly built tile shower in hopes that it will give an extra measure of protection. My husband and I are both seniors; I am 67 and he is 70, and a fall in the shower could be life altering for either of use. We had always used a non-slip removable mat in the shower/tub combo previously, but I was hoping to forgo that in our large, tiled shower. We made sure to install a tile with non-slip properties, but this coating should provide even more grip for feet on wet tiles. This coating system comes in two parts with a brush, stirrer and requires mixing of the paint and Part B, the hardener. The coating in its final form claims to be invisible and non-yellowing, and non-peeling. The kit comes with enough paint to cover 10 square feet with two light coats and dries ready for use after 36 hours. This coating can be used in a number of applications besides your shower or bathtub. It can be used in outdoor applications as well. If this works as well in our shower as I hope, I will be ordering more for our brick front steps. After application and a few uses, I will come back and provide an update.

Texture is nice, floor is much safer.

We’re getting older and perhaps not as sure-footed as we used to be. Our pool deck is flagstone and in addition to getting as hot as the surface of the sun in the summer, it is incredibly slippery when it gets wet. Exiting the pool becomes a strategy session worthy of a military exercise if you forget to stage your flip flops in the right spot. We are still working on our mortar replacement project so I tried this on my “scrap” flagstone that I keep in the garage for testing drill bits and hole saws. The liquid paints on easy enough and it looks great when I let Hubby do it. I’m an over-painter (and over-gluer, -caulker, etc) but he has a perfect painters touch. Once we let it dry, we threw some water on that stone along with an untreated stone. Huge difference when I slid my rubber shoes over both - using my hands of course recalling I’m not as sure-footed and who wants to explain that in the emergency room? We’ll need more of this to fully paint the path we are designating and my test results mean I’ll be buying this product. All the stars!
