Works great, and not just for water heater replacement
I ordered this kit so I can use the thermal cutoff for my battery compartment heater. The heater is thermostatically controlled to keep the battery bank from freezing, but in case the electronics go haywire, I have the thermal snap switches wired in series with the heating elements, so the temperature can never go above 140F. I tested it with a heat gun and thermometer and it works as expected. The thermal fuses will go in the spares box, as they are useful for repairing other things like automotive heater blowers and such. Good kit, recommended.

Accidentally snapped the thermal cutoff when I was dewinterizing so this kit was right up my alley.No issues with install, works perfect. Spare parts reside in the camper now for future use. Really happy with the kit, everything seems to be of good quality.
