Liked it but...
Really liked that Pür doesn't have aspartame in it, but the flavour does die quite quickly. Reading up about aspartame you will know it helps things taste better / longer, probably why after years of use of regular gum, it's hard to get used to one without aspartame.

Disapointing
I got these when they were on offer. It was the first time that i was trying them. Not great, flavor does not last long at all, and although I got them at a reasonable price i still don't think they were worth the price I paid. As soon as you chew it for a few seconds the flavor has gone. Not worth it, would not buy again

Kaugummi wird dann sehr hart zu kauen. Ist auch sehr teuer.

I love chewing gum but am so tired of all the artificial yuck that is in regular, commercial gum. Unfortunately, the more natural gums that I have tried have generally been disappointing. Sometimes they are plain gross, other times, they taste good but do not last at all. This one DOES taste good… but the flavor does not last very long. I think it may last longer than some other natural gums I’ve tried over the years, so, for now, I think I will stick with this one… though I may also keep on trying others to see what I can find. It works for now though. What I have been doing is I will have one piece, then once it loses its flavor, I will have a second one. That seems to be more satisfying to me than just the time that one lasts. I did try to have two at once, to see if that would make a difference, but it actually tasted kind of gross that way! It was a little strange lol. The flavor was too intense and it light have upset it stomach a bit- which does not happen when I have one at a time. They do feel a bit small while chewing - which is another reason I tried two at once - but it’s not TOO small, so it’s fine. Anyway, it is worth trying out if you are interested in getting away from the normal artificial yuck of commercial gums.

I typically chew a few pieces of Extra Polar Ice every day (for the past 10 years). I wanted to start weaning myself off due to some of the chemicals used in it, so I bought PUR Wintergreen (and "cool mint") as a substitute. The Wintergreen flavor is much more similar to Polar Ice than the "cool mint." The PUR gum comes in the little rectangle chiclet style pieces, as opposed to the "sticks" of gum that Extra, Wrigley's, and Five come in. I cannot criticize this, as it is simply a preference. However, one piece of PUR feels too small in my mouth, but two pieces feel slightly too big and have a weird consistency. Which gets me to a genuine critique. I like Extra because I can chew the same piece all day if I wanted to. Yes, it'll lose some flavor, but it will not taste BAD. PUR, like any gum, is most exciting within the first five minutes. But after about 30, it becomes bland and takes on a dry, overly chewy texture (not as bad as chewing on a piece of paper, but a similar experience). I know that "overly chewy" is very subjective-- my wife loves the physical action of chewing gum. So if you want a gum with a nice bit of "bounce," then pop in two pieces of PUR. In addition, PUR is so dang expensive compared to Extra. I get it, it's a newer company, completely organic and whatever. But the quality is lacking. If PUR was as good as Extra, but more expensive, I would pick PUR due to the organic ingredients. But there is just too much of a gap in quality to spend so much on a pack of gum. If there is a formula change in the future, I'd be interested in trying it, but right now PUR is a no from me.
