CURECARE Thumb Support, New 2 in 1 Thumb Splint Right & Left Hand (S/M)

Really helpful support for my de quervains tenosynovitis. Washable (just take out the plates). Worth the money.

This item came quick I have it on now. I had an accident, a fractured thumb, I feel that it is helping my thumb especially when I'm using my fingers to do things, it keeps my thumb in place. There are 3 velcro straps, one at top of thumb, one to cross over the thumb and one round the wrist. At mid back of thumb there are 2 hard supports which can be removed, either use both or just use one. Would recommend for good support but the hand has to be measured before sending for it.

Got mine today and I must say it’s comfortable not wore to bed as yet as that’s what I really got it for I get up in a morning and I’m absolutely in agony as I sleep in fetal position and my hands are in so much pain I can tell this is going to be the solution for me I’ve had it on all day no issues I’ll update yous tomorrow

This support really helped relieve pain (pulled the tendon between my wrist and thumb) Very supportive and stopped me bending my thumb and wrist too much. It's also comfortable.

I was able to treat my dislocated thumb without going to the hospital

This does support the wrist,not so much the thumb but it IS rough and scratchy so only wear it when in really bad pain.

I have CMC and have to wear a brace for 12 weeks after my injection. I bought this as a spare while my other more expensive one is in the wash. This one is so much more comfortable and less restrictive for the rest of my hand. Would recommend

THIS THE BEST SPLINT out of 6 I tried for wrist and thumb pain. The straps on the thumb support and the one on the wrist enable to adjust the splint to your hand very accurately 👌 The hand is very much supported while the splint leaves a lot of comfort in the hand. The product is made of good quality and comfortable fabric Highly recommending! :)

I bought this brace because I'm a bodyworker that uses my hands too much. I've developed Tenosynovitis in my right thumb, which makes gripping and fine, dexterous movements difficult. I find this to be much better than my old Breg version that limited my wrist movement as well (which was, admittedly, for a fractured wrist...). I still have full use and movement of my other fingers, and it does work as a reminder that "hey, maybe you shouldn't do that movement because it will hurt". I wear it to sleep so that when I'm rolling over, sleeping on my side, etc, my hand doesn't hurt in the morning. I bought the gray just because I live in the desert and try to avoid wearing black in any capacity during warmer months and I feel like it's less offensive visually (ya know, important things...) It does show my dog's black hair, and I used the sticky tape lint remover to remove it, but that isn't any different than another brace would show because of the material of the construction, and the fabric it's covered in won't snag your clothes or hair or anything like that. When it needs it, I can spot clean it, and the rigid brace support can be removed if needed (although I don't). It's super easy to put on, but you'll need to figure out a good placement for your own hand and what you need it for. I do notice that if you adjust the straps that do go around the thumb itself, and it is too tight, my thumb will start to feel a little nervy or numb until I adjust them or just shift the brace laterally a bit (that could be from it slipping throughout the day, or my own nerve/pain issues though). It's a very inexpensive option that works really well for me, and it doesn't restrict my wrist flexion or extension like other braces have, and most importantly, I actually wear it as needed, so my pain and inflammation is improving!

Ottimo prodotto. Comprato per la tendinite di quervain. L'ho usato tantissimo sia per dormire che per aiutarmi con il dolore. Dopo un po' di tempo ho dovuto togliere le stecche interne per ammorbidirlo. Molto comodo da indossare, non ha cuciture fastidiose ed è facilissimo da indossare
