As expected, basic effective product. Worked with stick velcro before and found the velcro surprisingly stick, even after being exposed to summer heat. Do have some of the velcro peel off at first, but corrected it hand no trouble after that. Better than previous experiences. The higher vent is important, as many aircons suggest putting vent higher than aircon.

We are experiencing super-hot weather in the UK at the moment and buying this curtain turned out to be a wise move. Before buying this I had a piece of cardboard attached to the end of the pipe and used to try and wedge it in a window but there was so much air flow leakage, it wasn't a good idea. I found the install of the curtain really easy applying the velcro tape, its really sticky so no problems with it coming off. The fit was slightly too big for my door but it didn't matter as managed to make it seal. The zips seem good quality, not had any breakages yet and been using it for a few weeks. Overall an excellent doorway air con curtain.

It works just fine once installed but is a bit of a faff to get it around the window just right. Always gets a bit tight in certain spots and the adhesive for the double sided velcro only really lasts for one summer. As long as you are happy to have to re-do it once a year (which on reflection isnt really a hardship) then its absolutely fine.

The window seal appears to do its intended job, but I found the installation process less straightforward than expected from the instructions. There were also a few marks on the material when it arrived which I share only one image as example. After installation, the overall appearance was not as neat as I had hoped, although this may vary depending on the window type and setup. Overall, it seems to provide an acceptable seal and performs its basic function.

Just what I needed, I have a bedroom window that needed sealing to increase the efficiency of my air conditioning in my bedroom. I noticed when temperatures were going above 30 degrees C outside and my air conditioning was on full power I would put my hand near the curtain where my exhaust and inlet hoses were routed, and I would feel a warm blast of exterior air trying to make its way back in the room that I had just spent an hour getting down to 22 degrees C. After installing this I noticed this problem had been eliminated and the room cools quicker than before and when the next heatwave hits, I'm sure I will have an even cooler room. Installation looks daunting at first, but trust me! just do exactly as the little instruction leaflet says and after you just put the sticky Velcro tape around the window frame and the window its self it will then make complete sense when looking at that cloth. It has a nice quality feel to it. Good product. You might want to air it out a bit after opening it as it has a chemically industrial smell to it which dissipates after a short while, but no biggy.

Adhesive strength so good indoor seal is perfect length and sturdiness is very nice. Cooling ability and the ease of setup good

It is literally some sticky back fabric with a zip to keep the two pieces together and the hose goes through a gap in the zips. Where it sticks to the window with the force of the hose going through it’s forced all the stick to unstick thus rendering it pretty useless at blocking up the window and also means I won’t be able to reuse next summer as planned! Surely somebody can invent something better than this!!

Bought this window seal for use in a stuffy work office where we now have a portable AC unit. It was easy to fit to the edge of the window with the right amount of velcro provided and the zips seem sturdy enough. The gap we leave is enough for the end of the AC hose, though it is of course difficult to create the perfect seal around the hose. Seems to help prevent too much hot air coming in but of course it isn't fully insulated.
