Ordered these before. They work great in a pizza oven and burn very hot. There is some smoke and they do burn quite quickly but I have used other pellets and they all seem to burn quick with some smoke. They are reasonably priced and delivered quickly 🙂

They burn well, once you get them going but create a lot of smoke!!

A really good quality product. Burns cleanly with little to no smoke and leaves hardly any ash. I use it in my table top burner on the colder evenings. Recommended.

Ordered these for my Ooni pizza oven. Previously I'd used charcoal and wood to heat the oven and was struggling to hit a high temp in the oven and keep this level over a couple of pizzas. After research came to the conclusion pellets would offer a better solution. The positive, they heat the oven to a high temp in a matter of 30 min, however there is a massive amount of smoke/soot produced. This blocked up the glass of my oven and left a residue across the internals of the oven. This surprises me given the temps involved, I have a wood burner it never gets sooty when burning at a high temp. Not sure if this issue relates to moisture level or contents of the pellets. All this said I can move with, the biggest issue I found is that it imparts a bitter flavor on the pizza. Not good. My conclusion, if you want good quick heat, use these, if you want your pizza to taste nice don't.

Works well and great value

Whatever you do don't put this in your burner by hand. There is something horrible in it. I chucked a couple of handfuls in my burner and woke up the next morning with my hand stained brown like i had smoked 60 cigarettes and my hand stank of cheap smoked bacon and cigarrettes. No amount of scrubbing would remove either smell or stain. I had to go to work in an office looking like a 1970's chain smoker. The pellets themselves burn hot and very fast so are not very economical either.

Perfect for our new pizza oven 😊 Make sure you order some ‘firelighters’ as they can be a bit difficult to light, but by using the wooden firelighters you can achieve some amazing results.
