If Amazon allowed half-stars, I'd probably give it 4.5, but I'll be generous and say 5, simply because I don't think a better version exists. The positive is simply that it looks great! But I'll point out the negatives/inaccuracies just in case anyone is curious: 1. This is not quite as thick as a real license plate. If you hang it on a wall, it's unlikely that anyone will notice the difference, but it's worth mentioning. If you're detail-oriented like I am, you can put a couple of surface protector stickers on the back so that it comes out slightly further from the wall. This makes it look very convincing. 2. The paint is not reflective like a real license plate. It looks great, but this might be noticeable, especially if there are real license plates near it. The included stickers, however, ARE reflective. They look just like the real thing. (The real thing might have a hologram on it or something, but without a frame of reference, it looks very real to me.) 3. The sticker area is not debossed like a real plate. On a real plate, the letters and border are usually embossed, and the sticker area is debossed. I'm guessing that's a cost-saving measure. They might have to flip the plate over and run it through the machine again in order to deboss it. Not a big deal. Once the stickers are on, it's unlikely you'd notice. But it would have been a nice detail for them to add. I think that's about it. The back is also painted white instead of bare metal like a real plate, but I don't think many people are looking at the back, so that's barely worth mentioning.

Item as described .. looks great . Wifes going to love it . Perfect for any one wanting a movie replica plate or any plate for that matter . Pressed metal and plate not vinyl ( apart from the licence date decals. so true to original plates ) Only issue was that the celeophane covering the plate was torn a little and decals were missing.... ( plate didnt jave a mark on it ) contacted the seller and they immediatly sent out a replacement set of decals . Very easy to deal with and great quality item Highly recommend and trustworthy seller . Will be back for other items from them in the near future

“Roads? Where We’re Going, We Don’t Need Roads", but you will need a license plate. This is an awesome looking replica with raised embossed lettering which makes it look even more authentic. Also comes with two stickers if you like to add that extra touch. This is a standard size license plate that looks perfect on any car or in your family room, TV room, bar, mancave, girlcave, etc... I also purchased an extra rubber license plate holder to give it that extra look. Overall, glad I now own it after so many years since the films.

My son LOVES this so very much! The ONLY negative thing I have to say which is our fault not the sellers fault. It comes with little stickers like legit tag (month and year registration stickers) in the shrink wrap. During the chaos of Christmas they were tossed. I wish the sellers went ahead and affixed it to the tag. So if you read this review just be careful of the stickers in the shrink wrap on the back.

Since I saw this sucker spinning around on the big screen since 85 I've thought it would be great to have one of these on the wall. Why? It is just a piece of metal, a license plate of all things, but it is a beautiful piece of nostalgia. Now, way to old to be this nerdy of a kid I enjoy seeing it on the wall pretty much every time I look at it. An unexpected and neat thing was it came with the correct stickers. Such a little detail but I was surprised and happy in a way that would make my inner 15 year old nerd squeal.

I spent the extra for a good quality prop as I wanted it to be signed by Christopher Lloyd at a convention this weekend. However, it just arrived and is a very cheap flat version with printed on shadows and really bad print quality. I’m beyond disappointed!
