This is great, super light weight, powerful succession, very pleased. Hose is a little bit to figure out how to route it but the unit itself is great, super light, easy to fill the water and easy to drain and clean the reservoir. Very nice unit and cleans really well. Cord is long enough for my rooms. Hand held clicks on the unit nice, works very well, a little slow spraying with hand held but its nice. Two modes, deep clean and then succession at end to dry things up, very happy with this. The base to catch things at end is nice too, no dirty mess left behind. I do a lot of reviews and this one is an A+ in my book. The value and price point is spot on, no pun intended. Very nice unit. It stores on the little base very good.

This machine is one of the best investment I ever made! It is a durable piece of equipment and it cleaned my area rugs so well they looked just like the first day I bought them and laid them down. The water usage was just the right amount and the suction also so good, it only took a few hours of drying time! It’s not too noisy. Very well built and sturdy. I wished I had bought it sooner rather than hiring contractors!

Shark CarpetXpert is a Great carpet cleaner. Previously I have used Bisell and wanted to see what else was out there. I did some research and liked what Shark had to offer in their carpet cleaner.Here is my take away from my first use of the shark CarpetXpert.The attachment detail heads are impressive, there are 3 options. I used the small detailer head and the medium size to clean my stairs. The brush that is in each head has two sides giving you a choice of the type brush, I really like this!I did find that the hose attachment at the base of unit did leak but with some investigation found one of the clips did not fully click into position. Detached and reattached while listening for the two clips to engage . Problem solved.While cleaning I did find I became lost in the cleaning mode that too much water was distributed in a small area because I forgot to press the switch to extraction mode. A trigger would help for water distribution instead of the automatic water distribution in cleaning mode.The collection reservoir had to be emptied often but that did not bother me too much bc it was obvious by the dirty water the cleaner was doing a really good job.Fives stars for the ease of cleaning all the parts after use. Highly recommend reading the directions for cleaning those parts that are not so obvious.I like that this unit is not bulky, same size as my vacuum.

I bought this because my bissel decided to crap out on me and no longer funtioned. I have a shark vacuum that i love so i decided to try their shampooer and oh boy am i glad i did! This works 100x better.My floor is way dryer after using and only took about 15 to 20 mins mins to dry as opposed to taking all day to dry.It has nice strong brissels on the brush so it really gets in the nitty gritty. It did so well on my old shag carpet and even fluffed up the worn and walked down areas. I also love that almost every piece comes apart to clean so there is no yucky build up that is stuck there forever like other carpet cleaners. Just rinse it with water and it all comes off immediately and still looks brand new! The cleaner that comes with it smells very nice and floral and works pretty good!I have had no issue with it leaking at all, its great that it stops when the dirty tank is full and doesnt keep running and spill out on the carpetIt is kind of heavy but doesnt feel to much heavier than my vacuum. I do wish it had a handle on lower section so it would help to carry up my stairsOverall i would absolutely buy this again. Super worth the extra 100 dollars to have a better product! Its perfect small size thats easy to store in my closet

Good luck! It does not suck!I used it on an area rug before attempting to use it on my carpets. Lots of water output, but it didn't suck up the dirty water. The ratio of output to input was basically 10 to zero. Dumped water just fine, even on "Quick Dry Mode", but sucking it back up? I have only spots of water on the inside of the repository for the dirty water.There is no way to control water output. Let's say you ONLY want to have it suck up the water. NO output, just input. That option is not available. Let's say you want to spray this one section more (doggy stain) than other areas. Nope! You have no control, here!Going back to Bissell or Hoover.EDITI tried this again on the actual carpet (not rug) and found it kicks up a TON of dog hair. If you vacuum, then use this Shark, you will get an entire dog out of your carpet and you can vacuum THAT dog up. NOW my carpet is clean. Vacuum, Shark, vacuum. Yes, it's a lot of work for your vacuum, but if you want clean carpets and don't mind the extra work, this really does help. Just in time for the holidays and family coming over!

It was super easy to assemble and is even easier to use. It is very light which is what I was looking for and is like just vacuuming so simple but does an amazing job I was so impressed. And it leaves the carpets almost completely dry so no waiting or using fans to dry carpets after cleaning them. I would highly recommend this one!

I read all reviews from many websites before purchasing anything. I compare what the different strengths and weaknesses of a product. I usually do not ever review a product unless I feel it is well worth the expense.I bought the Shark CarpetXpert EX150 series for around 200.00.I do not have a lot of carpeting in my house.I purchased this for upholstery, area rugs and bedroom carpeting. We have a large dog and once in awhile dogs puke and have accidents.The suction power, ability to take apart and thoroughly clean after using was most important to me.I did read that the little cap on the bottom of the clean water tank gets stuck and water leaks out. I also had this problem but was easily remedied with unscrewing it and rinsing it off with clean water.I had to do that 3 times. It never did that while in use it was only after I filled it and before I seated it into the machine.The cleaning was really good and I am totally satisfied with this product and my purchase.Hope this helps someone who is on the fence about buying a rug shampooer. The most expensive one is not necessarily the better one.

I cant say enough about this Carpet cleaner. We have 7 cats and thats alot of daily all day clean up. We spot clean when they throw up I have a hand held shark cleaner that I spot clean with. However I broke down and bought this to use bi weekly for maintenance cleaning and let me say when it says it removes stains and gets up the filth its not a joke. This was easy to assemble, easy to use. I had no problem cleaning any of my area rugs thin or thick. They all dried within 15 to 20 minutes.. I bought a pet safe concentration cleaner for the carpets, works nicely. I found the key to this is move slow. When wanting the water to be rwmoved thoroughly go over the area several times until you no longer see water being lifted. That's how my carpets dried so quickly.I also cleaned my chairs in dining room with hand held cleaners and they worked just the same efficient and perfect.Dont think just buy it

This carpet-cleaning machine is It not compatible with European electrical standards. is manufactured for the U.S. market, so its listing on Amazon Belgium is misleading and should be corrected.

First off, I am American and I live in Germany...my German carpet cleaner broke and a cousin of mine said SHARK machines are the best and I was like hmm wonder if I can order one off of Amazon.de - My belief was that if I could order one off of .de website it would have a GERMAN PLUG ON IT....IT DID NOT...it was an American Plug...WTF am I supposed to do with a machine for American voltage with an American plug on it??? pffft...wound up sending it back which is unfortunate because it looked like a nice machine that would be much easier to use than the ones they make here.

Not working properly, works for 1 second and then shows either red or blue light, even the socket is not as per UAE specs.

Switched it on and it blew my electrics. No where in the write up or box, does it mention needing a special plug socket, see pic for plug. It’s only when you read the ‘ important safety instructions, that it tells you about the plug. No 36 - 38. It does say do not use an adapter! I did, before reading safety instructions, no harm to the machine, just my fuse board. Sending back, not fit for purpose
