One of the best gimbals for smartphones in 2024
I previously owned two Zhiyun gimbals and they had performed very well for vlogging, so I was very interested to test this Smooth-5S AI Pro. I can confirm this gimbal works perfectly on my iPhone 15 Pro Max and the performance has been very consistent. This Smooth-5S AI Pro is able to support the weight of my Pro Max. In comparison, the old Zhiyun gimbals were designed for smaller phones so they no longer support the weight of Pro Max. The AI feature is interesting and I can confirm that it can recognise my gestures without problems. I particularly like the fill lights which are very convenient so I can film and follow the object without holding external lights. Most importantly, the video is very smooth as expected. Overall, this is one of the best gimbals for smartphones in 2024.

This is an amazing product. It takes a a bit of time to make sense of all of the settings and parameters. This is time very well spent. The device is amazing at creating smooth video. It also can create amazing effects for your videos. We have used this a lot since receiving it and have created some beautiful videos. When you get your hands on this, please take your time in learning about all of it's amazing features.

DJI who?
I've historically been a DJI fan, but the features of this gimbal made me take the leap of faith. Im glad I did. It works great with my Samsung S25 Ultra. I record video content with the gimbal and phone, and it does a fantastic job. The AI tracking module does a good job, but does take a minute to fully comprehend how to setup. The fill lights are a game changer, I dont think I could go back to even the newest DJI mobile model after using this.
