This is incredibly good value for money given that it's a third of the price of nest products but you get more out of itGiven how cheap it is, you can put it in every single room, not just per floor. The London fire department recommend installing in every room where there's a possibility of a fire which also includes bedrooms given there's electrical items there so this being cheap is very goodIt looks quite small, sleek and modern too, not entirely out of place on a ceiling and smaller than Nest . It's really quite easy to install if you've got a drillI like how it functions in an Interlinked fashion which is what you really want for these. The noise from this is loud when tested but that's what you want. I did test this by burning paper and they also just set off which was greatYou don't technically *need* a combination alarm on every floor or every room, but given how cheap these are, I figure why not. I like how it's a photoelectric alarm too vs an ionising one given most fires start off with smoke and this smoke detector actually detects.. smoke instead of flames. By the time you've got flames, it's a bit lateOne con of this though is that it'd be nice if in the app, you could schedule weekly or monthly tests. That'd be pretty cool imo

This is truly great product, you won't be disappointed.Very quick and easy setup for both, installation and software, everything worked immediately, nothing complicated, app is really well-designed in all aspects.Design of the device also very good, looks well in the ceiling.Can't recommend this enough, ordered more!

I brought this to replace my ageing kiddie alarms.It read a good system as i like voice prompts ,on unpacking the unit feels well built and looks easy to use .On connecting i couldn't get the base unit to work only if i stretched the cable out meaning something wasn't right with the cable so the cable hadn't been checked.Luckily i had a cable from something else i could use to try the unit ,it worked straight away , connected to the internet quickly and i named and linked the actual sensor . The app works well and the sensor is working correctly ,ive now ordered a new cable from amazon as i couldn't be bothered to pack it and send it back .I would have given it 5 star but for the faulty cable ive paid out for .Dont let my cable problem put you offThis is a great system early days yet but hoping it lasts a few years .(UPDATE ) since fitting 2 units i have now updated and brought another 3 ,WHY something caught fire while cooking ,the alarms was instant, setting off every alarm in the house also alerting us on our mobiles it was instant ,i was able to quickly silence them at the touch of a button while the smoke was let out the window ,absolutely brilliant system , I don't regret buying this system at all ,life saver and worked when it was needed too BRILLIANT

Very good installation to my x-sense alarm system. I recommend lo atung them on bedrooms and a separate CO2 sensor downstairs hallway. Very good app to monitor,test and silencing the alarm when it's triggered.

Great easily linked smoke alarm system. Particularly like the speaking alarm warning on activation. Also like that the system can be added to. Reasonably priced as well.
