The description says it's metal utensil safe and shows a picture of cutting a steak in the pan, but the instructions say not to use metal utensils and not to cut food in the pan. The instructions also say to only use on low to medium heat, and that it's safe to 356°F, which lets out many things you might want to do in a frying pan, such as stir-frying or searing a steak. I have the 8" version of this pan and I like it, though it's not entirely nonstick, so I decided to get the 10" one. I haven't used that one yet, but I like that it isn't too heavy. The small one cooks evenly, so I expect this one will, too. You should know that it comes with the handle detached and you have to screw it on, but they provide the screwdriver and a spare screw. EDIT: The more I use this pan, the more I like it. It cooks evenly, is very nonstick and cleans easily. The food doesn't spill over the sides when I stirfry. The handle stays cool and has a nice balance. Overall, it works better than many more expensive pans.

This review for the Pricusis 10” frying pan. First impression is it was packaged better than anything I’ve ever received. It even included a quality screwdriver for the assembly. The package arrived on the date as promised. For reference I am an average cook and only use olive oil via a spay dispenser that I purchased on Amazon. Also, I only expect to get about two years from any fry pan, regardless of cost. The fry pan is heavier than expected which I’m glad for. The pan measures 2 1/4 inches high without the lid. That’s higher than expected, but for me another positive since I do a lot of one pan meals and benefit from the extra space. The glass lid is flat and has 3 side vents and one vent on the top. I don’t want to get ahead of myself with too positive of a review, but I really like this fry pan. I cooked a version of chili for dinner and eggs for breakfast, and all went well. The eggs slid effortlessly out of the pan onto the plate. As far as cleaning I simply run it under hot water with soap once the pan has cooled and then towel dry. Just my opinion, but no need to over clean. Also keep in mind that running the cooking temperature too high on any pan, Pricusis or other, will shorten its life and usefulness. So far, I’m beyond satisfied with my purchase of the Pricusis 10” fry pan but will update if problems arise. For now, I recommend considering this frying pan. Good quality at a very good price.

I have to say, the first impression of this pan is impressive. Packed well, with the pan in a protective bag, handle separate, a screw and lock washer to attach the handles, a very nice screwdriver, and even an EXTRA screw and lock washer for the handle, just in case either gets lost. The price over cheaper pans of the same size is easily made up by the quality of the screwdriver included. The handle is very solid and doesn't conduct any heat, and the same with the handle of the lid. This is the first pan I've had that hasn't required using a pot holder to pick up the lid. Frying two sausage patties and then an egg to follow had absolutely no sticking. It cleaned up extremely easily and quickly. First experience using it is very good. We'll see how it stands up over time. I'll try to remember to update this as I use it and how it wears down.

Buy this one! I had purchased two others - one more expensive and the other twice as expensive! I returned them both, then found this one. This pan is well balanced. The lid fits (actually 'fits' on top, doesn't just sit & slide around on top). The handle is easy to grip. And, absolutely nothing sticks to this pan. Very lightly oil once hot; wipe excess with paper towel and final clean up is just another paper towel. TIP: at first, use much lower heat than you are accustomed to using. The heat transfer is perfect across the bottom and up the sides.

Love this ceramic pan! Perfect for scrambled eggs for two and grilled cheese. The lid is amazing. Handle stays cool and the pan cleans like a dream

So far this pan has been great. It has not scratched, although ive only used silicone spatulas in it. I love that the pan has some depth to it so it can simmer a quick pasta sauce in it. The handle is really nice. Don't be surprised when the pan comes un assembled and you have to attach the handle yourself. Its built really nicely and feels like a high quality pan.

PENSE BEM ANTES DE COMPRAR ESSA FRIGIDEIRA DA PRICUSIS. Em menos de 6 meses de uso, mesmo seguindo o protocolo proposto pela marca para utilização da frigideira, ela começou a grudar demasiadamente. Pelo valor do investimento (alto) não vale a pena a compra. Estamos decepcionados.

Thank you for including the screw driver to attach the handle. The pan is good quality and has already been used multiple times. I like having a lid to avoid splatter.
