I have extremely dry hair from bleaching, heat styling, aging and have spent a fortune trying high end conditioners. This Dove conditioner beats them all. It's reasonably priced and performs like a luxury product! I've tried other big name brands that didn't perform as well! My routine: I apply it according to the instructions but leave it in for an extra few minutes to let it deeply penetrate! Texture: My hair instantly feels silky, smooth, and deeply hydrated. I’ve got a dry hair type that needs heavy conditioning. I’ve found most hair masks in the past regardless of price point did not do anything for my hair. I tried this one out with hesitation because I previously did not have a stellar experience with the intensive repair conditioner. So I gave the bond strength mask a go. And I’m fairly surprised. I saw the results after only 3-4 uses. The texture of the product is thick, but not too thick. The mask glides through the hair quite nicely. I wouldn’t say it has a serum like texture. I would say it just feels like a regular cream deep conditioner. It’s not oily either. As soon as it hits your hair, you immediately notice that your tangle start to unravel at least that’s what happened to me. I leave mine in anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes with the shower water off and then I follow up with a regular conditioner. Just to “seal” everything in, but that’s not even necessary because this mask does the job. The smell is pretty good. I would say most people would like it. It’s not floral and not sweet. It just has a nice perfumey scent. My hair feels a lot smoother after I style it, and it stays sleeker for longer even up to 8 days. As far as the ingredients go. I know that apparently dove has patented the technology out in their damage repair lines so I can’t speak too much on that but for what it’s worth this mask those contain a lot of solid ingredients for conditioning the hair such as silicones and fatty alcohols. Don’t shy away from this mask just because of the hype. Obviously different things work for different people, but at the end of the day. It’s worth a shot because of how affordable it is. And how much success you’re probably going to have with it.

I'm honestly impressed by this hair mask! It completely transformed how my hair looks & feels, tamed my frizz & made it more manageable, my hair feels healthier than it has in a long time. I use this mask every 4 days which is every other wash but I feel that the softness & reduction in frizz lasts between uses. The jar has lasted a long time, the length of my hair is more than halfway down my back, I bought it around December & only now at the end of May am I close to finishing it off so the price is excellent for the amount of time it will last. The directions say to leave it on for 1 minute which is enough time to be effective but for maximum benefit I usually apply it after washing my hair then clip my hair up for a few minutes while I go about the rest of my shower routine & wash it out at the end. The only complaint & reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the jar...I don't like having to stick my wet hand into the product & trying to get the jar closed again with only 1 hand without getting water in it is a whole other battle so I bought a travel sized squeeze bottle at the dollar store & refill it with the mask as needed.

My FAV ! Smells amazing !! Dove “Bond Strength” is wonderful with my crazy curly hair ! Many shampoos can make it hard to get a wet brush or wide toothed comb through it - even with follow up conditioner ! But this brand (shampoo / conditioner & mask) all make it so super easy to comb right through it ! Not greasy / oily. Leaves hair soft & easy to style.

Love this. Leaves my hair super soft and I can detangle it really fast. Also smells really good, and it do repairs and hydrates my hair, me having color-treated blonde hair.

This is one of my favorite hair masks, and I will definitely keep repurchasing it. My hair is fine to medium in texture, naturally curly, and has been damaged by bleaching and frequent heat styling. Some hair treatments can weigh my hair down, but this one doesn’t. It leaves my hair incredibly soft, silky, shiny, and hydrated. After using it consistently, I also noticed that my curls looked healthier and more defined. My damaged ends had become much straighter over time, and this mask helped my hair feel and look much better overall. For the price, the results are amazing. It’s easily one of the best hair masks I’ve tried.

I was disappointed to find that the hair mask arrived unsealed and appeared to be previously opened. Furthermore, the cover was damaged and had noticeable black marks, which is unacceptable
