Easy to assemble on my own. Eight nut and bolt to screw together not rocket science. Light weight and can support a twenty stone person. I try using after assembling get up out of chair and I found it helpful. Purchased for my Dad who has a bad back and has trouble getting up

DOES NOT DO THE JOB Dangerous as not sturdy and supplied screws are too long and bolt does not screw all the way down the screw. DO NOT BUY AS NO REFUNDS OFFERED (which I only found out after delivery of a defective item - waste of money)

This riser is excellent, it is light enough to carry around and to store and very confident when having to get down to floor level. The only improvement could be a spanner for the nuts when assembling as the nearest I could use was a adjustable one, but we'll recommended for the elderly and would not be without it now

THIS PRODUCT IS JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR, AND I DID NOT HAVE TO PAY SOME OF THE HIGH PRICES STATED IN SOME OF THE CATALOGUES WHICH COME THROUGH THE POST. IT IS EASY TO ASSEMBLE, TAKES UP LITTLE SPACE IN MY BATHROOM AND WORKS PERFECTLY, I AM VERY PLEASED AT HOW MUCH HELP THIS IS TO ME.

I think this get up aid will be very useful but an elderly person living on their own might find it impossible to put together. Although we're both quite used to this type of construction, two of us struggled to get the nuts on the screws which didn't fit easily. One of us held the screw head with a cross head screwdriver whilst the other had to hold the nut with a tool selected from a socket set which gave a variety of size options. The aid seems to stand sturdily on the floor and has comfortable foam rubber handles to hold. Now, as with many disabled aids, I need to experiment to see how it works best for me.

Bought for a relative for after an operation as help for getting up. Really useful

Before I review this product, let me first tell you that you cannot get a refund, which to my mind is not legal. However, that is the case, and it was not stated when I ordered. It is an unsafe, rickety item, the screws and nuts are tiny, and do not hold the product safely. Don't even think about buying it. I can't afford to throw money away, and I am in tears that I cannot get a refund.

Not sturdy enough and difficult to use with our sofa design, so it was very difficult to use effectively.

Hallo Allerseits, es gibt Situationen in denen man einfach Hilfe benötigt und es kann nicht immer jemand da sein der einem Hilfestellung leisten kann, wenn man sie gerade nötig hat, oder man ist einfach zu stolz Hilfe anzunehmen, weil man sich einfach noch nicht alles aus der Hand nehmen lassen möchte. Dafür sind diese Hilfsmittel perfekt, denn auch ich bin in solch einer Lage und bin froh das ich mir diese Aufstehhilfe gekauft habe. Sie ist schnell zusammen gebaut und auch sehr stabil, das man sich mit seinem gesamten Gewicht daran abstützen kann, wenn man sich mit dieser Hilfe erstmal hoch gehieft hat. Trotz ihres leichten Gewichts ist sie sehr stabil und kann so aufgestellt werden, das sie nicht im Weg steht, aber dennoch griffbereit ist. schwierig zu montieren, schlechte und unvollständige Anleitung. Aufstehen ist so, wie auf dem Foto gezeigt, nicht machbar. Physikalisch unmöglich! Eindeutig! Sinnvoll ist dieses mobile Geländer zum herum Schieben allerdings als Hilfe, um in Schlappen hinein zu schlüpfen nach dem Aufstehen. Oder um stehend in ein Hosenbein einzusteigen und sich mit der anderen Hand festzuhalten. Oder in der Küche, wenn etwas auf den Boden gefallen ist und der Senior will sich danach bücken und sicher aufrichten.

Ich habe es für meinen Mann gekauft als Aufstehhilfe von der Couch wie beschrieben. Leider haben die Kinder das Packet zuerst in die Finger bekommen und es aufgebaut. Es ging wohl sehr gut und ist einfach in der Handhabung, leider steht in der Beschreibung dass es nicht als Stütze genutzt werden darf und auch nicht zum abstützen oder sonst wie belastet werden darf, es ist nicht sonderlich standfest und ziemlich tief- nichts für große Menschen, naja nun steht es als Stumerdiener im Schlafzimmer, schade.

zum Glück gibt es alternativen, wenn man nicht mehr weiter weiß. Mutter ist glücklich und schafft es schon fast ganz alleine damit aufzustehen. sehr stabil und einfacher Zusammenbau
