This is a really good notebook. The paper does not blot. I put it to the test with several of my pens, including a medium thick rollerball. There was very little shadow imprint on the other side and I was able to write on both sides of the paper. I like the fact that it is perforated and tears when I wish to but doesn't start tearing and falling out with my regular use. Overall, its well constructed and I like the pen loop. Handsome looking as well.I wish it came in more colors. I would totally buy a dark crimson red, a teal, turquoise blue, emerald, etc etc. I would suggest there be a front page for writing in the owner's name and contact details including email and phone numbers. The loop comfortably holds a slim pen or pencil.I have used other name brand books and this one has better paper.

Excellent notebook! I used this to keep notes on my father’s hourly progress while he was in hospital. I left it for my sisters and overnight caregivers to record notes as well. The pages are thick and gel ink did not bleed through. Love the pen holder and folder inside. It’s small enough to keep in my handbag but large enough to hold comfortably to write.

Excellent Quality and the best price for a journal of this size on amazon .Great pocket in the back.Lays flatI don't have a need for the pages to be removed so I was worried they might accidentally tear our but since the binding is sewn and it lays flat they don't seem to be in danger of coming out.Paper quality is superb.Leather is fine to the touch.I very happy with the journal and it make it a joy to write in.

I like it, I just wish the company made them bigger. I use it for notes and journal entries which can be rather lengthy, so I need at least an 8 by 10 college ruled booklet, designed like the others. Other than that, it works pretty well.

Positively the worst notebook I've ever bought. The binding is already coming undone. It doesn't lay flat. Unless youre given this as a gift (by someone who must not like you) don't own it.

This notebook is a good quality and seems to be holding up well. I like that the pages are perforated. Not sure about bleed-through as I only use a ballpoint pen.

Overall I like it, good quality cover and pages, overall I am happy with the product. The only downside is the notebook is too narrow from my point of view
