I've been using this for most of a year now, and it has performed beautifully with no problems. Much longer run time than my original batteries that came with the mower. Would buy again.

This battery fits and works in most tools. My only complaint was the board on the inside is not completely encompassed in protection. Which means if you get dirt/oil or metal shavings into the battery through the vents it could potentially short out which is a concern on replacement batteries.

Charges and works

I got this Supowill replacement 82V 3.5Ah lithium-ion battery for my Snapper XD 82V MAX cordless electric lawn mower, and I'm very happy with the end results. It's almost a carbon copy of the original battery, and you can use your original charger to charge the new battery. The original battery was starting to show its age, and with the new battery my lawn mower works again like new. Just like the original battery, it's heavy, has a solid build, and seems like it will last for a long time. The plastic its housing is made of feels very rigid, does not flex when you press on it, and screws are used to hold housing halves together, not glue. End-to-end, it looks like a high-quality battery. It charges quickly and holds its charge very well. And it's much cheaper than the original battery, which is great because I need to get two of them so I can keep running my mower when another battery is charging.One of the best features of this battery is its impressive power and long-lasting charge. I've used my lawn mower for more than an hour straight without having to worry about the battery dying. Usage is simple and straightforward - the battery fits perfectly into my Snapper lawn mower and works just like the OEM one after installation without any problems. Furthermore, the battery is compatible with other Snapper 82V Max tools like hedge trimmer, string line trimmer, leaf blower, etc., which is an added bonus if you own multiple tools that require the same battery. This battery feels like an upgrade from the original one that came with my lawn mower giving me 3.5 Ah capacity vs 2.0 Ah of the original one at a much lower cost per Watt/hour. I can't comment about the longevity of these replacement batteries, time will show, but my first impression is that my lawn mower is running almost 50% longer than with the original battery. This can be of course a subjective impression because the original battery was already exhausted, but it definitely is on-par or better than the original one.Bottom line:All-in-all, I would definitely recommend the Supowill replacement 82V 3.5Ah lithium-ion battery to anyone who owns Snapper XD 82V MAX tools. As a backup battery, it works smoothly in my tool shed. The charging performance has been consistently good. It may drain slightly faster than the original battery, but overall, the usage experience is excellent.

Unfortunately, like seemingly all replacement batteries, this isn't what it claims to be. It is constructed with 2.5Ah cells so cannot possibly be 3.5Ah capacity. Testing showed a battery life consistent with that 2.5Ah rating.Construction isn't as good as OEM packs. Compared to a Kobalt battery, two significant deficiencies are evident: this unit lacks a fuse and has a thin film over both top and bottom that obstructs airflow. The PCB with the power transistors isn't as well insulated but the logic board has a conformal coating.Note that this battery is very similar to both Kobalt and Greenworks batteries but requires modifications in order to fit. Or, alternatively, can be easily rehoused in a dead battery's shell.Tested (rehoused) in a Kobalt dual-battery mower. Some hesitation was seen switching between batteries as the low-voltage shutoff kicked in but otherwise these batteries functioned perfectly.

In my business operation we run a SLEW of batteries for everything from trimmers to chainsaws. This battery was put into service 12ish weeks ago and has been run out and recharged each day & night (5 days a week) ever since. It is holding up well, offers OEM like power and I expect it to continue.These are great batteries.Highly Recommended.

It fit just fine but I keep it in my garage as an extra battery in case I ever run low on my primary charge—just make sure it’s always charged. Speaking of, it takes only a few hours to charge most of the way to full, so I’m happy with the performance in that regard. Quality seems to be good so far—I mean, it works and it holds the charge well, so I have no complaints thus far. If it stays this way in the long run, I can attest to the fact that it’s worth the money and is a solid value!5/5.
