G GRANA Organic Tea Pods for Nespresso, Variety Pack, 15 Count

Love how easy these are to make tea. I own a salon and don’t like having a million things on the counter and these work great with my Nespresso machine! My clients all love the flavors and the pods save so much time.

YUMMMM I wish they sold the hibiscus tea separate though because that was my fav!

If you have a Nespresso machine that is current these pods do not work in those machines. They are too small. My machine can run some original capsules but these ones for the tea are two small. And I can’t return them apparently.

Taste is okay. The capsule is difficult to set. I find it takes a lot of force to close the handle of my Nespresso maker and a lot to release it. Not sure if I’ll damage my machine.

The taste and the aroma of the tea is distinctive and pleasant. I brewed it Lungo and the intensity of the tea was on the weaker side of what I would normally brew. This is understandable since the tea is not steeping for long. These are good for a quick tea time craving. The pods seem to have a two year shelf life. The price ($1/per pod) is on the high side but it is organic product so it is understandable that it costs more. Non-taste related observations: This has nothing to do with the tea itself but the packaging which is important. Green Tea and Peppermint capsule colors are not easily differentiated. Suggest to choose a more distinguished color for Peppermint for example. Hard to tell which tea you’re looking at since there is no tea name on the pod. The pods have the same writing on both sides about being Biodegradable & Compostable which is good but I don’t need it on both sides of the pod. I’d rather have one side with the name of the tea on the pod. Pods did not fit in the machine easily, I was afraid to crush them. I understand that the pods are biodegradable and compostable which makes them less sturdy than the aluminum so that’s not a negative, just an observation. I do feel better disposing of these over the aluminum ones.

A really nice change from coffee, coffee, coffee! So easy to have a refreshing cup of tea.

Compatible with the original line Nespresso single cup brewer this set includes 15 capsules in 5 different flavors of tea. There are 3 each of green and black tea along with green lemon ginger, peppermint and hibiscus. The brewing directions are to place an 8 ounce cup on the machine and press and hold either the espresso or lungo button on the machine until the cup is full. I tried the green lemon ginger which was good tasting but a little weak and the peppermint which and excellent. Tea requires time to steep so I wondered if using the original line machine would allow sufficient time to develop the flavor but it did a very good job. My only quibble is that the name of the tea is not on the capsule—they are color coded. To estimate shelf-life at the time of this review in July 2024 the expiration ate is 11 months in the future but dates will vary.
