This should not be sold in UK as it is American. Unfortunately I had inscribed it, as a gift, so couldn't return it. We have got rid of pounds and ounces 30 years ago in this country. How will an 8 year old in UK use this? The ingredients are also American. This should be made clear. A waste of money.

Very nice, arrived quickly, nice range of recipes a couple more meat free dishes would have been nice.

Best birthday party gift together with an apron and chef’s hat, apparently! My daughter’s friend turned 9 and has now taken to regularly cook for her parents. I will now purchase the book also for my own daughter.

Measurements are not UK 😢. Wish that had been clearer form the post. So it’s useless for our kids wanting to create food independently in the kitchen here as everything needs translation - From cups to grams Fahrenheit to Celsius, all purpose flour to plain? Etc .

I purchased this book for my granddaughter’s 11th birthday. I live in the U.S. and my daughter and her family are in Australia so I have not actually seen the book in person. According to my daughter It was the perfect gift and helped keep my granddaughter occupied during the Covid lockdown. My daughter also appreciated the gift as it gave her and my granddaughter bonding time and has helped my granddaughter explore new foods. My daughter indicated that the book was not too simplistic but felt it would also be appropriate for a younger child.

I bought this for a gift for a tween but I might end up buying another one for myself. It's a great little cookbook with simple and yummy looking recipes, and pictures! It includes actual meals like a triple decker tortilla pie, snacks like apple "doughnuts," drinks, and desserts like a no bake snake cake made with rice krispie treats. Some of the recipes are really simple, others moderate and requirebasic cooking skills or adult help for kids without that.

Bought for 11 year old grandson who wants to be a chef. Great book, good recipes. Love Good Housekeeping.

Gave this book to our grandson for Christmas. He has been having a ball with it trying different recipes. Thank you.

The grandkids loved this cookbook for children. They get to go to the grocery store and pick up the supplies and cook their family an easy meal once a week. New family ritual. And they have really enjoyed learning to prepare a meal for their family.
