This is a truly great backpack both for the price and all around. My daughter just started second grade, and I usually buy her backpacks from Pottery Barn Kids; but as she's a young elementary student, her bags always end up so dirty by the end of the year, even after washing them multiple times. This year, I decided to let her pick out whatever she wanted from Amazon to save some cash until she actually needs a heavy-duty backpack. I had no idea that this one would be such great quality! It seems better than what you can buy at a big-box store at the same price point. The design and colors are beyond cute and on-trend for the elementary crowd, and we LOVE the different pockets that make organizing her things a snap! My daughter wears hearing aids, so having an extra designated pocket in the front for spare batteries and other supplies is awesome. There's plenty of room in the main compartment to hold her 1.5" binder, lunchbox, and jacket/sweater with room to spare. And having the water bottle pockets on either side is always nice. I'll certainly be checking here first for backpacks and other supplies in the years to come!

Good quality, the zipper pulls are nice for little hands and has plenty of room in the bag. The lunch box is a little on the smaller side but good for elementary age sized lunch. Material looks easy to wipe down but if there’s a big spill it may be difficult to clean by hand.

Adorable! Love the colors! Zippers work, it’s fairly lightweight, and fits a decent amount of stuff. My daughter is excited to use it for school this year. :)

I originally bought this backpack for my youngest daughter who is getting ready to start school, and it has been an absolute obsession in our house! Both of my children went completely crazy over it when they saw it. They love the adorable cat and beach theme design on the bag. It is bright, super fun, and perfect for getting little ones genuinely excited for the school year. Highly recommend!

Cute backpack, love the colors and patterns on the fabric. It’s nice size with lots of pockets to organizing. Shoulder straps are cushioned nicely. I wish they would have used a sturdier zipper, seems average quality.

Exceeded my expectations! The material is sturdy, the zippers don’t feel cheap, the extra pockets in front are great for storing the little nicknack things my girls collect. The pocket on the side for water bottles is deep enough that it actually holds their water bottle without being too tight or falling out. The colors are as pictured and overall it is a really cute backpack. Would buy again.

Thick, great quality. It has the chest buckle that my daughter loves. Lots of pockets. Has the computer sleeve inside. Zips up with ease. It has the thick padding on the back. My daughter is 6 and in kindergarten and loves it so much.

You get exactly whats advertised. Good size, and quality looks good but will determine after some use.
