A bar definitely adds a new dimension to resistance band training & I have to agree with many other reviewers that this is the bar to get. Not the cheapest but it looks & feels serious; like training with an Olympic bar. It's a good length for most exercises with the option to use just two or even one section. Hooks squeak a bit as they rotate but hopefully just need a bit lube (Edit: sorted). I use bands in conjunction with free weights but the ease of use & quality feel of this item has me looking forward to experimenting more with band exercises & hopefully ramping up my overall training regime. Edit: Liking this bar more & more. Feel able to do a wider range of exercises with my bands & it feels more like a proper work out. Adding or removing bands is super quick; no fiddling with clips or screw fastenings. I can do a full body work out in minutes if I'm pushed for time. Would be great for holidays or travel.

Feels pretty solid, can become slightly unscrewed if you’re wrenching in straps to tighten them. Potentially quite a thick bar for small hands without straps

I haven't done barbell deadlifts and squats since 2020. All my workouts are via resistance bands and dumbbells. This is a game changer for people working out at home. I wish I had known this earlier. I can even hook 3 heavy bands for deadlift and squats. The only cons i can imagine is if you are close to 6ft or more. It would be challenging to set up a back squat. But it works for me that is why I'm giving it a 5 star.

Amazing bit of kit 😊 I have had this resistance bar for a few months now and it's amazing. The price is affordable for most people, the quality is extraordinary and it’s a joy to use.

Great.. I like the addition off the wheels for abs to swap out as well. The design of the hook moves nicely with the geku board. It appears to be able to take decent weight but I am not deadlifting at very heavy weight with this bar. I think it should handle it but others will have a better opinion on bands at 200kg point.

As I travel a lot i was hoping to have a lightweight alternative to my steel bar but to my surprise this aluminium equivalent actually weighed considerably more. It's well machined and the carry case is nice but it just wasn't suitable for my needs

The Geku aluminum resistance band bar is an excellent product, very sturdy and well made, certainly the best at its price point, if not at any price point. The hooks enable me to change bands very quickly, and the bands stay on. The hooks are quite wide and I even managed to use my 3 3/8 inch wide orange AmStaff band with the hooks. I should also like to point out that the Geku company is a pleasure to deal with; they are very committed to customer satisfaction. I had previously purchased the same bar through Amazon, and there was a flaw with the tread on one of the knurled parts. I contacted Geku through Amazon, and Geku sent me a message that they would refund my payment, and that I need not return the product. They initiated the refund with Amazon, entailing no effort on my part, and ONLY TWO DAYS after my initial complaint the refund was in my credit card account. Such wonderful service needs to be acknowledged and rewarded. So I promptly ordered the bar again; this time it is flawless, and I enjoy using it. Needless to say, Amazon also exhibited its usual efficiency throughout the whole process.

This works great for me. I love that I can take it apart and it’s portable unlike other long bars. I for some reason really like the knurling. I would say it’s like finer grit sandpaper compared to other barbell knurling, but it grips the hand really really well. And I just like the feel. It feels more dry. I wish the knurling went all the way to the ends though. The bar is also a little bit thicker than the X3F bar, which I found nice for chest press, and other push pushing exercises. I have paired it with a travel bar from a different company that is 28 mm which is less thick than both of those bars. I use that for dead lift and other pull exercises. The other thing to note is instead of having ball bearings it just has the hooks spinning freely inside of another steel sleeve. And it’s a little bit squeaky and there’s a little bit more friction. You might want the friction for exercises where you feel like the bar is gonna roll out of your hand otherwise. But if you want it to be smoother, you can unscrew the hooks and spray lithium grease into those sleeves, careful to not get it on the threads and it will become smoother than ball bearings and be quieter. I also put a little blue thread lock on the screws for the handles only. I might’ve put a little too much, but it worked too well, so I had to use adjustable pliers to get them off. Then once I unscrewed it and screwed it back in and got some of the thread lock out it I could unscrew it by hand again. So it might help if you find the screws for the hooks getting loose every now and then, but I would use very little. I didn’t really find that to be much of a problem anyway. I just tried to thread lock just in case. For how inexpensive this bar is it’s a really great bar. And I haven’t had any problems with bending or durability or anything like that so far. I’ve been using it for a few months. And I use it for heavy band movements.

An sich echt gut, aber die ganzen Macken sehen aus, als ob jemand mit der Zange an dem Teil war. Das Teil war bestimmt schon mal in Gebrauch und wurde als neu verkauft. NICHT LUSTIG

Long term review. This bar really stands well with time no play in the bearings at all. Would recommend any looking to get into serious resistance band training
