It worked, after alterations.
Was the right tool for the job. That's always a bonus. BUT still had to alter one to make it fit perfectly. The lip on the edge was just too much so it was taken off with a grinder. Then we were able to access the spooler valve, phaser, whatever each mechanic wants to call it for my VW. So in all the tool did what it was supposed to, with a little help.
