Very nice and a multifunctional dash cam. It is small and compact so it doesn’t get in the way. Before I bought it I was concerned that it might block my sight or distract me, but after I installed it, I found that it is so hidden that I wouldn't even notice it while driving. Plus, it’s super easy to set up and install it. It came with many attachments to attach to the window or your dashboard to keep the charging cable hidden from the view. I was so glad that this charging cable can be hidden nicely and won't affect the appearance of my car. The picture resolution is perfect for the price, much better than the first one I bought from a retail store. Since I installed it, serval friends of mine have asked me where to get this. Would definitely recommend to any car owner who wants to protect their car and themselves.

Since my original post, the manufacturer has sent me a new replacement cam, and, it works as advertised. I am quite pleased with their customer service, who immediately contacted me about some of the "cons" I had in my original post. So far the new unit works perfectly and I have no issues with it. I have no trouble recommending this product to others. Original Post: The mounting of the cam and view is fine, fairly easy to install. I've installed a lot of electronics in our work trucks, so running the cabling in the liner and trim was ok. Needed to install a separate circuit for the power, since I wanted it to turn on and off with the ignition. To download video from the unit, you need to remove it and hook it up to your computer to download the .mov files. Images are very clear and the quality of the video is excellent. However there are some downsides: (1)The recording function does not always come on when you turn on the ignition, sometime you have to manually turn it on. (2) Unable to find the "looping" feature so that old video is written over. (3) the date and time reverts to Dec 31st 2017 for no reason. (4) The software and the AV in port suggests that you can add a rear view cam to the system. The software has F and R file folders, but according to the seller, you cannot add a rear view cam to the system.

It's easy to use and has many good features! It's about palm-sized, maybe a little bigger, but doesn't take up too much space on your windshield. It's easy to unplug and take down really quick if you go onto an Air Force base like I do (or anywhere else recording isn't allowed, for that matter...). It takes up to 10 minute videos, then starts over with a new clip immediately, so there's no loss of coverage. It also overrides the oldest videos if you haven't locked them, so I don't have to worry that it fills the SD card up or anything. The only thing that drives me nuts is the beeping sound when it sees a reflection in the windshield or something, especially at night. I can't find a way to turn that off.

I had this dash cam for a couple of weeks and was very happy with it. Very easy to set up. Two days ago it started shutting off on me due to low or dead battery. I unplugged the Onboard charger adapter (powered by 12V car cigarette lighter) and plugged it back in cam starts up for a min then dies. When I first got the dash cam there was a light on the charger when plugged in, now there is no light on the plug when I plug it back in. I put it in a different cigarette lighter adapter in my truck and it works. I tried putting the Onboard charger adapter powered by 12V car cigarette lighter in and it still won't work. I'm thinking that the charger is a fluke since I have not seen anything else about this issue in the reviews. I am ordering another cam for my daughter since I like this one and will make an effort to repair my Onboard charger adapter powered by 12V car cigarette lighter or try and find a simillar charger.

Once again, we run across more cheap Chinese junk being sold on Amazon. Three months after receiving the camera, the power cord stopped working. No big deal, since I then tied it into the vehicle's electrical system with a hard-wired power supply. This morning (9 months after purchase), after a -9F night, I noticed the camera would not turn on. After numerous reset attempts, I found that the programmed settings were not being saved after power-off cycles. Apparently, the batteries or capacitors don't last long or are killed by extremely cold weather. One more for the scrap heap. Upon initial programming/set-up after I first received it, I found that the up/down/forward markings do not match the actual buttons. It took awhile to figure this out, but it was a PITA. I almost returned it, which I now wish I had done.

We bought two. One works fine, it is in my car which shuts off the juice to the lighter when the car is off. The second one had to be replaced, but the company did a replacement without fuss. The van does not shut off the juice to the cigarette lighter when it is off and we are not sure if the camera shuts off or not, though it does stop recording after a few seconds. These have a decent picture. However, they are not user friendly, the 'menu' is not easy to figure out, the settings are confusing, and all in all we don't use any features except the camera. It was not easy to figure out how to set the date and time. The warning when a car is close feature is so annoying we don't use it. Still, the videos are sufficient and of decent quality even at night.

I commute a lot around town and absolutely love it. Everything was in the box as listed. Pretty much plug and play, and very easy to use. With the wide angle lens it captures everything in front of you. Videos comes out super clear and detailed. I like how it comes with extra 3M adhesive mounts so you can use on multiple cars. For the price and quality I would highly recommend this product.

Really pleased with the dash cam. Great quality item with some excellent features for the price. Set up is straight forward. Recordings are in 3min - 10min segments. The events video starts recording from 50seconds before, so it can capture an emergency or crash etc. The camera is very good at recognising details, thanks to Sony CMOS image sensor with Improved Visible Light and Near Infrared Sensitivity that support 1080p. The camera do not requires a constant power supply when in use cause it has build-in battery, you do not need to push any buttons to turn it on or off either, it does so as soon as you turn the key on or off. Excellent value for money, and the quality of the recordings is excelent, I wasn't expecting the quality to be as good as it is for the money. Cons: SD card is not included.

Wrote this review one week after I recieved the package. It's very easy to install, you can do it yourself in only 10 minutes. The night vision is quite surprising, it can record with limited source of light and you can basically see everything you need to see through the display. Even when you park your car at public parking lot it can switch to battery power and keep working.

It stops recording after a month of having different issues. At first the recorded files had errors and couldn't be open. Then the unit said the card was full right after I just wiped it clean. Next the screen froze. Now it is not recording. Honestly, it's useless. Don't waste your money

Easy to install. Good quality. The only thing is the dash cam is bigger than it looked in the picture. Also, i need to keep it charge while i am driving because the battery is always low. Otherwise, good quality for the price.

So far so good. I can’t believe how big the screen is on this thing. It’s nice if u want to play back video but most likely you’ll use a laptop to analyze video. Other than that, the screen can be annoying when driving at night. Easy to use so far and comes with clips for the charging wire to hide the cable.
