I was looking for an egg chair for my master bedroom balcony. Had a few in my cart but went with this purchase because of all the great reviews. Did not disappoint! Assembly was not difficult but definitely recommend 2 people. Took my daughter and I about an hour & a half but that’s only because I had to unscrew one side at one point because I had it on the wrong way and I have long nails so screwing took me longer than usual. It is definitely sturdy. Cushions are comfy but could be better so I will do what others recommended and buy more cushions to place under the seat. I also bought the cover to protect it when not in use. Now I’m going to buy the foot stools to match. Fast shipping! Super cute! Very happy with this purchase! Highly recommend!

UPDATED REVIEW: The manufacturer replaced the defective part and I was able to fully assemble the chair. It’s beautiful and so comfortable. Looks amazing in my home library and I love sitting in it to read. The manufacturer’s customer service was top notch. Original Review (one star): Beautiful chair but defective. One of the legs is welded wrong and doesn’t line up so it cannot be assembled. Contacted Amazon support and they have reached out to the seller. I am really hoping I can just get a replacement part for part F (front leg).

This was such a good value! It was easy to put together, and it looks exactly as the picture. This does need two people to put together as it is challenging to hold the pieces together as you screw them in. I would recommend another tool to tighten the screws. It's incredible comfortable and light to move. However, it feels pretty sturdy. I am using it for indoors though. I'm not positive how it would hold up being outdoors.

I am beyond obsessed with this!!!! It is SO sturdy which was my main concern. It wasn’t terrible to put together (definitely need two people, I tried to muscle it on my own and there was no way) Definitely recommend using the QR code on the instructions to get an idea of assembly - we used gravity to help with some of the pieces so definitely recommend that (where you need extra weight to push down for the pieces to come together) I am absolutely obsessed with it!!!!

I absolutely love this thing. Yeah, it's pricey, yeah, the "rattan" is definitely plastic, but my god is this egg comfortable. But be warned, when the reviews talk about how difficult it is to put this thing together, take them seriously! I usually build all of my furniture on my own without any help, and I never spend more than 90 minutes building anything from Ikea. But this freaking chair took more than 4 hours to build on my own. The instructions seem deceptively simple, but the size & shape make the egg insanely difficult to put together solo. Put your pride to rest and ask a friend or partner for a set of helping hands. That said, I still love this egg. Its super comfy for sitting or laying down, and it has no trouble supporting 2 people. The cushions are made of a good, weather-resistant material, and even though I can feel the frame while sitting down, it genuinely doesn't bother me. Buy the egg.

This is a great couch and I would highly recommend buying it taking into consideration the following: The bottom seat cushions just aren’t the thick enough. You can feel the frame of the couch while you’re sitting. I added some throw pillows and it helped improve the mild discomfort. This is a two person build project. It’s just awkwardly shaped to screw in the fasteners solo. A drill also helps make things easier. Overall, there are some small improvements that could make this better but it’s still wonderful and I would buy it again.
