I cannot believe how good this product is! Glides on easily. I'm able to shape my brows exactly as I want them. The only drawback is that I have to sharpen it frequently because I like a very fine pointed end.

Pleasant surprise! I bought this on a whim, but it turned out to be exactly what I need for quick brow enhancement on the go. Goes on smoothly and evenly, and blends well. GREAT price too!

This is inexpensive & absolutely fantastic! I have no eyebrows & no skills in drawing them in myself but with this pencil it’s easy & the color is perfect match for me! A new staple in my routine for sure!

Having been a long-time fan of NXY’s brow pencils/gel (due to their staying power and color options), and trying to find a replacement for my favorite (but discontinued) “blonde” gel, I’m happy with this pencil. Although the color of the ‘taupe’ is more of a light/medium brown, it is the closest option to my preferred color — ‘ash blonde’. This glides on smoothly, doesn’t clump, and stays on the day through. It applies to skin well, too — should you wish to draw AROUND your brows a bit. The pencil sharpens without breaking the liner or splintering the wood. It is easily brushed-in with the wonderful half-spoolie on the pencil’s other end — the perfect size for brows. My only complaint(s): 1 — You can’t really tell (at first glance) which end is the pencil point and which is the spoolie. And, my luck dictates that 99% of the time, when reaching for it, I’m NOT first removing the cap on the pencil side! Lol. [Problem solved using my Brother label maker, though, and marking both ends and caps]. 2 — I wish there was an ash blonde/light taupe color available. I have bought two (for home and travel cosmetic kits) and plan on getting a 3rd soon.

This brow pencil is amazing if you're trying not to dye your eyebrows but you want a temporary eye brow color change. I did not want to bite the bullet to dye my eyebrows Auburn, but this pencil was able to give me the look without me having to go through the chore of dying them. Also, it looks very natural.

Why is there a variety of tones and ONLY ONE of them, the one that I have purchased 3 times, costs almost TWICE the amount of every other color??? ($4 vs $7.88!) I like this eyebrow pencil for several reasons and I have tried so many, but keep coming back. But the unfair pricing is really upsetting. The last time I purchased it the prices weren't so different. I don't want to change my brow color to save 50%, but why am I being charged that much more in the first place? Super frustrating! This seems like either dynamic pricing based on my purchase history, which is unethical at best, or the company just gouging people because 'soft brown' may be their most popular color so they want to make more $$$ from it. Either way its a really uncool way of doing business.

Great coverage- perfect color ! Great bit complaint is that if you sharpen it to a point it usually breaks off- don’t fully sharpen

I just love Nyx brow products. They fare as well or better as their more expensive counterparts. This pencil is my favorite. I have gaps in my eyebrows from over plucking in the 00’s. I don’t like anything too dramatic makeup wise. This pencil goes on really soft and natural to fill in any gaps and enhance the brow shape wherever desired. It’s not waterproof so it can budge when really put to the test. However, I wear it to the gym and bike for miles and miles while sweating and it still has some staying power. Mostly the gaps where it doesn’t have anything to cling to become a bit more visible again after sweating. The taupe color is perfect for me. I have light brown hair with both cool and warm undertones. This matches my natural color very closely. I get lots of compliments on my brows with this simple little pencil. All this being said, I ordered two Nyx pencils on a sale, and both arrived with the inside “lead” loose in the wooden casing. Sent one back and received a pencil that has been opened on both ends in exchange. Sending the other two back with hopes I get a good product in return. I’ve never had a problem with loose lead when purchasing in a store, so I’m wondering if the pencils are getting too roughly handled in transit or enduring temperature changes in the warehouse. I’d go back to purchasing at my local Ulta but they unfortunately stopped carrying this product. TL/DR - Fantastic eyebrow pencil. Arrived damaged from Amazon. If you can get an undamaged one, it will become a staple.

To be honest, it was a bit of 'trial and error' for me before I achieved the desired results from this eyebrow pencil. But once I got the hang of it, I felt extremely satisfied with the 'more natural' look that other recent purchases didn't seem capable of giving. Like any older person, my eyebrows are quite sparse, and I've struggled to find a budget-friendly pencil that hasn't made me look 'overdone'. This may partly be due to me being useless (rather than other products) but once I latch onto something I get along with, they tend to be keepers. I hope this helps.
