Aluminum Restoration Cleaning Solution | Clean & Restore Patio Furniture, Stainless Steel, and Other Household Metal Surfaces (16 oz.)

My tired aluminum patio set was in need of a restore so looked into various products to do the job. Cant put into words how fantastic this solution worked. It is as easy as wiping a rag with a dab of this stuff and it restores to original finish. No lie this stuff is magic. Small bottle but you dont need but a fraction to do a 6 chair and table set. Needed to relay satisfaction when something works beyond expectations.

It works AMAZING just wipe it on and let it dry 5 STARS for that. Opening the product 1 STAR - probably the most difficult and strenuous lid I have encountered in years! I ended up getting pliers and essentially CUTTING off the plastic "Push down and turn" top. HORRIBLE!!!!

Super easy to use, wipe on and it took the oxidation off. On super chalky/oxidized areas simply flip the rag to a clean area and go over again and the surface looks great. No prep, no fuss. Just pour some on your rag and wipe it on and your aluminum oxidized area looks like new again. I used it on my white aluminum window casings at my home as well as dark brown soffit and facia for my aunts place on the lake that has beaten by the sun for 30 years. Wow what a difference that made! I had her smiling big because her place looked like new again. Highly recommend! I noticed another review stated this didn't work and was streaky? I wanted to point out that if after wiping off a chalky oxidized surface you didn't flip the cloth to a clean side and continued to use a dirty rag you would then be wiping the chalky substance back onto your clean surface which would leave streaks. I would think most would find this be common sense but just in case this helps somebody it certainly does and will leave a streak if you use dirty rag. Just flip the rag around and it is easy peasy to make things look like new again.

Thought I’d try this on our garage doors. Honestly, I wish I had taken a picture of the before & after. The RESULTS WERE IMPRESSIVE, even my neighbors came over to ask what I was using. Anyways, I was skeptical to order based on some reviews but thought - it’s cheaper then painting. Glad I tried! The process was SUPER EASY, directions were clear and results were amazing. One bottle covered 3 car garage. How I applied / Tips: I wore gloves and had 2 microfiber cloths. Keep the bottle on cardboard it gets messy ( it does stain cement ). I applied in sections and did not slop it on, I just kept putting the product on the cloth and gently wiping it on. Do not scrub it on. Be careful around the edges. Because I didn’t slop it on, I did not need to wipe over with a dry microfiber cloth. I let it dry overnight and then used the same cloth for any touch ups the next day - spots missed during initial application. It has been over week since I completed and it still looks amazing. Our garage faces west so it gets a ton of afternoon sun and heat in Arizona. I will definitely update on how it holds up!

I really wanted this product to work, and for the price I expected good results, but the outcome with my aluminum outdoor furniture were pretty lackluster. That said, I saw a lot of other reviews with good results, so maybe it was this specific situation. So, that said, here are the details with my experience: I live near the beach in southern California and the sea air is DESTRUCTIVE. I feel like this could have a bearing on just how much this product can do. My furniture, though, is really high quality and overall has held up okay, except for looking a bit whitish/faded (it was originally jet black.) I had not put any sort of product like this on the furniture in a couple of years, so it wasn't look great. It didn't/doesn't look awful, but it was certainly past the point of when I should have tackled this project. So, with that in mind I cleaned the furniture really well and let it dry (online it recommended using acetone to clean the furniture before using a restorative product like this one and after scrubbing the furniture and letting it dry, I did just that. After everything was completely dry I applied the AL-NEW liquid LIBERALLY and buffed it a little. For about a minute it looked amazing (just like the photos I had seen online) and I was so excited, but then it faded as soon as it dried. I applied again two more times, but that did nothing to improve the results. Based on the photos and rave reviews I was expecting if not a remarkable change, at least a significant one. It was neither. I will say, even though the results weren't great, it definitely looked SLIGHTLY better than it did before, and maybe using it will help to protect it from getting even worse. PROS: 1. It was easy to apply. CONS: 1. The results were disappointing. 2. You have to be careful not to get it on yourself or any fabric (I had removed the seats from my chairs to recover them, so that kept me from getting it on the fabric, but my friend who was helping me got it on her clothes and it didn't come out. This isn't a big deal as far as clothes...just wear work clothes, but if you have attached fabric seats on your furniture, be VERY careful. 3. The price is steep. Even if it had worked it would have felt expensive, but would have been a worthwhile investment...for these results it was WAY too pricey. BOTTOM LINE: It was a lot of work and a lot of money for very minimal results.
