My Honest Review of L'Oréal Paris Paradise Mascara Primer I’ve always been on the hunt for anything that can give my lashes more volume and length without the need for falsies. So when I came across the L'Oréal Paris Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara Primer/Base, I figured it was worth a try—especially since I already love their Lash Paradise mascara. Application & First Impressions: The primer comes with a soft, wavy brush that’s supposed to have over 200 bristles. It does pick up a good amount of product and coats the lashes evenly, though I found that if I wasn't careful, it could get a little clumpy. I learned quickly that applying my mascara while the primer is still slightly wet gives the best results—otherwise, it starts to dry and can drag a bit when you go in with the mascara. Formula: One thing I noticed right away is that it’s infused with rose oil, which I think is a nice touch. My lashes do feel a bit more conditioned after using it for a few weeks. That said, it does have a light fragrance, which might not be ideal for those with super sensitive eyes. Personally, I didn’t have any irritation, but it’s worth noting. Results: When applied right, it genuinely makes a difference. My lashes look longer and fuller, and it definitely helps the mascara last longer without flaking. I remember liking the old pink-tinted version better in terms of texture, though—it seemed to separate lashes a bit more effectively. This white formula is fine, but I wish it clumped less. Final Thoughts: Overall, it’s a solid lash primer. Not perfect, but if you’re looking for a drugstore option that adds volume and helps your mascara stay put all day, it’s definitely worth checking out. Just make sure to work quickly during application and maybe use a lash comb if you're worried about clumping. I’d buy it again, but I do kind of miss the old formula.

Found my new favorite! Works good

I fell in love with the whole concept of "priming my lashes" a few years ago. I have really curly lashes so, I needed to find something that would work at keeping my mascara from running onto my upper lash line. Someone suggested primer and my love affair began! What I like in particular about this primer is it actually does make your lashes thicker, longer, and works perfect for priming for mascara (especially, paired with it's duo). What I don't care for is quite a bit of product comes out onto the wand when you first start using it, which can create clumps. However, if you continually wipe the excess off on the top of the tube and just twist your wand as you coat your lashes, it's not so bad. In addition, I feel like it doesn't last too long either. For me, a good mascara should last over a month - possibly 2. Can't beat the price though! Hope this helps!

Used this product for the first time and I'm REALLY impressed. I'm 65 yrs old and over the years my lashes have thinned and become shorter for many reasons. After brushing my lashes with it, I was unimpressed. I couldn't see the product on my lashes like many of the photos posted here for this product. Figured I'd just have to wing it as always with my mascara. Brushed the mascara on and ... my eye lashes haven't looked this full since I was in my 20-30s! I've been struggling with mascara for so long! No more. I'll be using this from here on out! Applies easily and smoothly. Helps mascara glide on and hold much better. Thickens, lengthens lashes along with mascara.

I'm kind of late to the lash primer game, I had no idea what I was missing out on! If I had known before how life changing lash primers are, I would've bought this sooner! My lashes are not long at all, but with this primer my lashes literally DOUBLE in length and volume. It's literally magic. Even my mom couldn't believe these were my real lashes when I wore the primer with mascara. She was convinced I was wearing falsies. The formula is very soft and smooth, it doesn't feel sticky or tacky; super easy to apply. I also feel like it makes my lashes feel softer and gives them a lift. When I apply mascara over the primer it doesn't get clumpy at all, and it keeps my lashes curled all day.

Clumps and a mess getting it straightened out

This is my all-time favorite primer. I have thin, short lashes and I'm in my late 50's. I use primer allll the time because mascaras just don't work like they used to for me. I've tried almost every brand there is, from drug store to high end. Almost all of them end up going home with my daughter lol. This, however, I am not giving up, it's amazing! It helps my mascaras stay on all day until I wash it off. It gives that "oomph" that short, thin lashes need. I should add that I layer my mascaras; L'Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara, Sheglam Flutterwink Mascara, ELF Lash it Loud, and Maybelline Lash Sensational Luscious and wow! My lashes are long and lush and beautiful! The picture doesn't do this combination justice but it was the best I could do with this phone lol

Aporta mucho volumen a las pestañas. No hace grumos. Excelente opción.

Love this primer to use before your mascara it really defines your eyes and makes your lashes longer buy it you won't regret it.

yo usaba otro primer que compro directo de Corea, y no tenia confianza en otros productos, pero me anime a adquirirlo y debo decir que me encanto, me deja las pestanas separadas y con un gran aspecto, al colocar el rimel no se me corre o se me bajan, en verdad si ayuda mucho y sin necesidad de colocar pestanas postizas.
