We used carpet staples sparingly and worked well with good results.

This carpet is so beautiful that I like it. But it is too hard for fixing the stairs. I use it for the hall.

Q: Can this carpet runner be installed on top of an already carpeted stairway?

Not advised. We had our stairs refinished stained and such then the runner down the middle.

Q: can this be installed on a circular staircase?

If you cut it up into pieces, you can install it on a circular staircase. You would be covering the tread and the nosing of the tread, but not the risers. If you have the skill, the time and the patience, go for it!
