When you switch off a port, does that just disconnect the power or does it disable the port port completely i.e. no data connection either.

switching off the port, disconnects power and yes data is stopped also, as the usb device is not active and powered

Will this be powerful to deal a printer which has USB connection?

Does this device remember which ports are turned on/off? Or does it simply set them to all on/off when powering up?
