Happy with it
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Im really happy with the clean sound that this microphone delivers. Im using it with a Behringer UMC 202 HD audio interface and as you guys may see on my video the audio quality is awesome for my Youtube videos. In terms of the package it comes with a dead cat, to reduce wind noise when recording outside.Built quality is nice, the XLR connector is built out of metal, and the only weak point that i see on every single microphone is the wire but there are no miracles there.Overall im really happy with its sound quality and almost no background noise.

Professional sound for an amateur price tag
This mic has truly surpassed my expectations. Having owned a lavalier mic that connected to a mobile phone previously (from Shure) I had formed the opinion that you couldn't get decent quality sound out of a mic at this price point, afterall; the input shouldn't make any difference, and Shure is a well known brand. The Shure mic wasn't cheap and yet the tone of my voice in the recordings was flat and distant no matter how I positioned it and no matter what I did in post production. The Comica lav mic has proven me wrong, you can get a professional sound out of a mic at this price range! I know that different mics suit different voice types, but it's worth noting that this one picks up a wide spectrum and captures my voice really well. With a bit of EQ and compression this mic sounds amazing. I have it connected directly to my Canon XA11 as the camera has built in XLR inputs and I now have great video and sound without having to mix the two in post.I have a really nice condenser mic from Samson that I've been using from about a foot away when filming for Youtube, but it captures too much of the room and I'm now looking at ways to hide the Comica lav mic so I can switch to using this instead, it really does sound a lot more professional. I think if my Samson mic was up close it would probably just about beat the Comica for tonal clarity, but it's arguable considering I haven't had that much practice with positioning a lav mic. More to the point though the Samson is a condenser mic worth well over £100 and can't be used for interview style footage! If you're looking for professional sounding footage on a budget then I can highly recommend this for anyone trying to up their Youtube quality without breaking the bank. The mic comes with a wind proof hood, which my missus was cooing over yesterday saying that it was "really cute" XD I haven't tried it yet, but it seems to be of good quality and I don't see why it would work any differently from any other brand, it's just a furry ball at the end of the day.The only point of note; I wish I'd bought the longer version. The sitting distance from the camera makes the short version a bit of a stretch so bear this in mind when choosing the length of cable, aside from that I can't recommend it enough.

Considering the price, performance is astounding!
For the price these are absolutely incredible.I have also got dpa versions of these microphones and they perform much better with less background noise Pollution, BUT they cost 15 times as much - honestly IDidn’t expect performance anywhere near as good as these mics for their price, quality of the XLR connector is superb, cable looks to be good quality and the shirt clip Works well.. the wind defenders are a bit out there in terms of size but they actually do work!So In conclusion.. don’t expect them to be as good as a dpa.... but you will not get better for this price point

Stupidly short XRL cable length on Comica XLR Microphone CVM-V02C Cardioid XLR Lavalier
Unless you have your recording device in your pocket (And one thats small enough to fit in your pocket) then you are going to have to carry round an additional XLR cable to attach to this to make it long enough. There's no way it's long enough to have it discretely not shown and plug it into a camera as per the photo in the products description. Will review the actual lavalier mic when I can use it somewhere due to the above.

Decent phantom power lavalier mics, but variable build quality.
I'll be honest, I'm a little disappointed.I bought the 2 pack, and there's a very noticeable difference between the two microphones. One of them I'm pretty happy with - fairly good quality pick up, without too much noise. Not spectacular, but decent for the money. The second microphone is substantially worse - lots of weird background hiss. You can tell which microphone is plugged into which port of my recorder purely by looking at the levels when all else is silent. I won't be buying another of these.

Excellent product but noisy cable
Excellent for the price, but the cable could be better screened. However, I found by plugging into an XLR cable and keeping the thin mic cable rolled up, the interference disappears giving a solid, relatively low noise output.Ideal for those interview situations where use of a radio mic is unnecessary. Thoroughly recommend.

Good quality
I'm a beginner at sound recording, but shopped around for a lavalier mic for the TASCAM DR40X and settled on this one. I'm delighted with the mic; first off, it is well made, but it gives amazingly high quality, far clearer than the TASCAM's internal mics - £35 well spent.

Poorly made
I'd watched a Youtube video about this product and everything looked fine. I ordered the two pack of mics and when they arrived, I couldn't get them fitted into the Zoom recorder. My studio engineer tried - no luck! He double checked them both and both the sets of pins inside the housing were off centre. Amazon gave a full refund and I bought the MOVO lavalier mics which have worked perfectly.
