PREGMATE 30 Ovulation LH and 10 Pregnancy HCG Test Strips Predictor Kit Combo (30 LH + 10 HCG)

This time could be challenging and this box has such a fun theme and colors that it eases the anxiety. It's great to know whats happening in your body to accurately plan for parenthood. The box is discreet and small. The strips are easy to use and there are two helpful pamphlets inside to help understand how to use them. They're great for planning and I completely trust this brand. You do have to wait 3-5 minutes to read the test. I haven't tried the pregnancy tests to know the accuracy but the ovulation tests are (imo) accurate. It helps that this kit has a mix of ovulation tests and pregnancy tests so you don't have to buy more than this box! Price is good too.

Let me just say that this was my first time tracking my ovulation ever. I was tempted to buy a way more expensive ovulation prediction kit that came with the app and a fit-like device because it's supposed to be the newest and bestest but when comparing prices with PREGMATE, I thought I'd give this product a try and I'm so happy I didn't spend an unnecessary amount the the other product. PREGMATE is easy to use, easy to read super discrete (unlike the ones that look like drug store-bought pregnancy test). According to the pamphlet included in the kit it was recommended that I started testing around day 11sh of my 30-day period but I was so excited, curious and anxious to start so I started testing on day 5. Unfortunately the pregnancy tests were negative so this will be my second month using PREGMATE (totality not the products fault, I'm 28 and have been on birth control for about 9 years). ** I use the Glow app's free version to scan and keep track of my tests, no need to buy a kit that comes with an app, this product serves its purpose just fine.

My husband and I were having trouble conceiving. He had ED due to a medication he was on so it was difficult to line things up. Two months after using these strips and I was pregnant. Fast forward 9mo and I had a rough delivery. I was advised to wait at least a year before trying for another child and hormonal birth control wasn’t an option. These strips helped us plan when to use extra protection while my body recovered. Now we are using them to try for baby number 2. Package size is the same for LH and HGC test strips, so they look the same from the back so they are easily confused when tired. That send both the package and strip are well labeled so you can tell which you are using if you pay attention and you always know which strip is which. Peeing in a cup/bowl then using the strip may not be for everyone. I used a small ramekin and had no problem with it. I actually preferred it to trying to pee on a the stick. Tests are accurate. I did need to take the LH test when I knew I wasn’t ovulating to get a base line shade as there was alway a faint positive line. This helped to pick up on the surge early, but even if I hadn’t done that it was obvious when I was surging.

I've used these test kits for about six months to predict my ovulation and it's still a learning curve. First, because I'm perimenopausal (44 years old) and my cycles are erratic. Secondly, I apparently don't ovulate consistently every month. Initially I was evaluating the results by eye and documenting the numbers on paper. As I've learned a bit more, I decided to download the "Premom" app which has made evaluating the strips much easier. So now I'm just giving the kit and app more time to gather a pattern of some sort. These are the reasons I gave the reviews above. If I had regular periods with consistent ovulation, I know this kit would produce the positive results for which I'm hoping. In that case, I would've given 5 stars all around. It's easy to use and it's pretty affordable considering the prices of individual ovulation/pregnancy tests elsewhere. Hopefully I'll return with perfect reviews after having a healthy baby ❤️... praying 🙏 to God!!

Overall, the product works great. The strips take some getting use to and at first I thought they were hard to read. My ovulation day according to the apps on my phone seemed a bit off compared to the 1st noticeable positive I got on the test strip. They really are easier to read when you have your previous strips to compare them to, so don't throw them away! Make a chart similar to my pictures. After days or even weeks of negative results you tend to think they aren't working right. I think we get impatient TTC. But finally you get that positive and you know! My first month using these and I ended up pregnant! Now, I will say when it comes to the included HCG tests they are not nearly as sensitive as other over the counter pregnancy tests. I took First Response tests and they were a clear positive, whereas the strip itself barely showed a second line. It wasn't until 8 days past my late period that these HCG strips showed a clear second line. That's the test in the pic I included. Overall, great strips and I would definitely use them again if I ever TTC again.
