The pack of 20 rodent repellent paper pouches from BugBarrier arrives in a sealed foil pouch.Each paper pouch is 99% biobased, made with calcium carbonate and kaolin clay infused with peppermint, cinnamon and rosemary oils. The scent is sort of like a freshly opened bag of spice drops but much stronger.If you follow along with my reviews you'll know that I keep a constant supply of these types of oil-based repellents on hand for use in my RV. I use them all over the inside of the coach and in the exterior bays. We live in the Northern Sierra desert region and contrary to most RV users that's when ours is unused. Prime mice activity time. While these may not entirely eradicate mice entry they don't seem inclined to stay and look for a place to nest inside. I haven't had to leave glue traps (which my wife hates) since I started using them. I think the key is to change them out religiously. I scatter 3 or 4 times the recommended amount of pouches and then change them out promptly at 30 days or even sooner if I notice the smell dissipating. This bag says one per 100 square feet so I'll scatter 10 or 12 of them.This is a new brand for me, and the package contains more pouches than I normally receive in a bag so even though the price is a bit higher, it averages about the same as others I've tried.I will start using these the first week of August and come back to update the review in September.Hopefully they will be as effective as the others I've used. They are some of the better and stronger smelling, so let's hope that's a good omen.

I have put these in my toolboxes the scent doesn’t seem to last much longer than the week and a half two weeks. I may switch back to pure peppermint and cotton ballsI give it a month and see how it works

I use this product in my cottage ，cars and other corner, independent packages are so convenient. Good smells. So far it seems to be keeping mice and all insects out of my house

I got these pouches to help keep the flies away. We use snap traps and poison for the mice. I did put one in an outdoor bar cabinet and haven't had any mice in the trap since, so these may be an effective deterrent (I prefer the elimination route, honesty). But for flies they definitely have made a difference, both inside and outside! We keep two on top of a patio bar table, and they have definitely reduced the number of flies that approach the immediate area. Bugs really do not like the peppermint scent! The scent is strong, but not obnoxiously overpowering. My sense of smell isn't the greatest, but to my nose all I really smell is mint and don't pick up on the rosemary and cinnamon. The essential oils do not seep from the pouch like another brand I tried (which messed up the paint on a window sill). These pouches are priced high, but if they last a month I'll consider it worth it (I've only had them out for about a week so far, and so far so good). These also work great for under seat air fresheners in your car. All in all I'm happy with the performance so far and I really like the scent.

We had a couple of mice get into our house recently. We placed these packets around the room that we saw signs of the mice, the basement, and the crawl space. After catching two mice (the assumed only culprits) we have not seen any new signs of mice in the house. We have not found where the two originally got in, but after placing these great smelling deterrents around we have not seen any more signs of mice. We love that they are safe ingredients on the off chance our pup were to get ahold of one, and that they don't smell like chemicals or leave sticky residue like some other deterrents on the market. So far these have been a great investment for keeping the mice out. 2 months going strong!

These are easy to use and easy to storeHowever, I put a bunch of these in my basement about a week ago and still found a rat on a sticky trap earlier today.
