I honestly had very low expectations before buying this. There are so many mould removal products out there that promise amazing results and then barely make any difference. I almost didn’t bother ordering this because I’ve been disappointed so many times before. But this product genuinely gave me the “wow” factor. I used it on heavily blackened silicone seals around my kitchen sink that I thought were permanently stained and would probably need replacing. I left the gel on for several hours and the difference was unbelievable. The black mould staining lifted dramatically and the silicone came back looking clean again. What impressed me most was that it actually worked without endless scrubbing. The gel stays in place and keeps working instead of just running off like thinner sprays. I’d also seen some reviews mentioning a lingering chemical or bleach smell afterwards, but honestly we didn’t experience that at all. As long as the area is ventilated and wiped down properly afterwards, the smell wasn’t an issue for us. I almost never leave reviews unless a product genuinely impresses me, but this absolutely deserved one. Yes, it costs a bit more than some alternatives, but in my opinion it’s worth paying extra for something that actually delivers results. My mind is blown with how good this was! I inherited a pretty ropey and quite frankly disgusting washing machine in the rental I am in. I don’t think it had ever been cleaned. I read the reviews and purchased not expecting much but it’s totally transformed my washing machine. From clogged black mould (that was causing all my clothes to smell and specs of black mould appearing after my wash). I used it and left it for 5 hours and the majority was gone but had to do a second application to remove the really stained rubber areas. It’s so good! It smelt of chlorine, was streak free and thicker than I thought. I’ve since used it on grouting, sealant in the bathroom and problem areas on my window sill! I highly recommend this product!!

I purchased this to clean the door seal of a washing machine we inherited with a house purchase. The door seal had seen better days and was quite discoloured. I was hoping this would kill the visible mould lining the seal and return it to its intended grey colour. Applying the gel was straight forward - though it’s worth noting you do need a Stanley knife (or similar) to cut the nozzle of the bottle. There was no overpowering smell and It was incredibly thick which was great for ensuring it stuck to the surface I was applying it to, but it did mean I ended up using more than I probably needed to had it spread a little more. That said, there’s plenty for two applications in one bottle since it’s a good size. I left the gel to work for three hours. It worked well, removing the black mould and only leaving a slight discolouration in its place. I imagine it would be completely cleared after a second application (or perhaps if I’d allowed it to work a little longer). Clean up was relatively straight forward, but you will need plenty of damp and cloths to get it removed fully. Overall, I’d say it’s good value for money.

Amazing product! Does exactly what it says, was really impressed and it cleared the mould straight off the rubber seal of my washing machine which I had tried for months to clean off and had been there for ages. It also worked in the bathroom on a dark patch of grout, would 100% recommend!

This is easy to apply but I was disappointed that it didn't clean off all the black mould in one go.

Tried this on the weekend and I wish I found it earlier. Literally spread the paste, leave then wipe off and it removes mould in showers etc. I used a car the second job to keep the paste in the ridges and it was easier to get a consistent amount. Highly recommended and will be buying again!!!!

Did exactly as described. Cleared stubborn black mould that I'd previously been unable to remove off bath/shower sealant. Can definitely recommend this product.

Worked quite well, but despite shaking it, the gel separated from the liquid and more complicated to apply. It did coean the mouls though. Good cap and applicator.

I'll be honest, I went into this with very low expectations. I've tried many other "miracle" cleaners on my stubborn window sill mold before, and most barely made a dent. However, Active Mold Stain Remover completely blew me away. The results are nothing short of spectacular. I applied it to some deep-set stains on my sealant, and it worked incredibly well, far better than I ever expected. It tackled the mold that other products couldn't even touch, leaving everything looking brand new. If you're dealing with tough mold stains and feel like you've tried everything, give this a shot. It actually does what it claims to do. I'm seriously impressed. There was no scrubbing at all. The scent was surprisingly minimal. I applied the product and walked away. I actually left it on overnight, but I didn't need to, the mold was completely gone in a few hours. It tackled the deep, persistent stains that every other product couldn't touch. If you want a set it and forget it solution that actually works, this is it.

Our shower is large annd deep and mold grows on the left corners where the shower head is because air circulation is bad. We have had a mold problem for years due to several showers being taken in there every day, the mold could never dry out. I tried bleach, hydrogen peroxide, every type of toxic mold cleaner and it never went away. But it was nasty! So I tried this stuff. First of all, I followed directions to a t! I placed a fan in my shower to really really dry it out. I took the shower brush and scrubbed the dry mold. Then I cleaned it. I dried the whole shower with a towel and let the fan dry it out fully. Then I put on gloves, a mask (you’ll need it- it smells like chlorine!) and eye protectant (just in case, the gel doesn’t splash but there were times when I was squeezing out the bottle that it “farted” and I was glad I was wearing eye gear). The bottle comes with a nozzle that allows you to target specific areas. There is a cap on the nozzle you have to take off. You also have to open the bottle- it’s a foil cover you peel back. Then you point the nozzle at the mold and gently squeeze for the gel to come out. The only trick is not to “scrape” the gel with the tip while squeezing it out- otherwise it moves to the side of the grout and hollows out where you actually want it to go. It took some trial and error to master just having the tip hover above the grout line and not actually touch it, but when I got it, it was pretty easy!!! Then I went to town following all the horrid grout lines. And there were a lot. I’m talking subway tile. I did not have enough of the gel to do the whole thing, but holy cow! You can see where I didn’t put it!!!! I would tap the bottle upside down to make the gel move to the nozzle to make squeezing easier. I used the entire bottle. After I put the gel on, I let it sit for almost 5 hours. It was amazing. The mold was gone underneath the gel. I took a damp cloth and wiped it and the gel had the consistency of dried candle wax and just fell to the floor. I gathered it up and put it in a trash bag. Then I cleaned my shower and let it dry fully overnight. After the gel dries it still smells like chlorine, but after throwing it away there was no remaining smell. I am impressed!!! You can see the areas that I put the gel so clearly, it looks like new tile. Some tips: 1. dry the shower fully!!!!! If the mold is wet, it won’t work. 2. Don’t let it come in contact with clothes! I had a blob fall on my sweats and I rinsed it with water but it left a little bleached spot. 3. Wear eye gear and disposable gloves. The bottle will fart. 4. When I picked up the dried gel, I just held it in my hand and slipped off my glove inside out, trapping it in my glove and creating a little pocket for it to be easily put in a trash bag. 5. Even the gel can stain! I dropped a dried gel in my rug and it left a tiny bleach mark. 6. Be generous with the gel. The areas I didn’t put a lot or did thin lines had some mold spots that did not fully erase. 7. Let the gel sit for longer than you think. I had black slimy mold and I left it there for almost 5 hours. It’s gone!!!! 8. Trust me. Buy at least 2 bottles. You wont regret it. All in all I am so happy to find this product and am already buying more to finish the grout lines. 100% effective.

This gel actually works on stubborn mold and mildew stains. I squeezed it onto the grout and silicone lines in the shower, let it sit for a few hours, and when I came back the dark stains were totally gone. No intense scrubbing needed. Highly recommend if regular sprays aren't working.

The delivery of this product was on time. The product itself was used mainly to clean dirty bathroom/shower grout. Instructions and video was easily accessible and able to follow. The ability to remove stains and return grout color to original was surprisingly effective but leaves a residue and a distinct smell. Because you have to let this sit to remove tough stains, ventilation is recommended. Clean up was simple and straightforward. Also there is only 1 size to order from. I didn't know how much was needed until you started to apply this. Having options for additional sizes would help for bigger projects.

I saw this on social media then looked it up on Amazon. After seeing all the raving reviews and the before and after pics, I decided to give the Mold Stain Remover Gel a shot. It really works, people! I had some stain around my tub. This thing got rid off them without me even doing much other cover the stains with the gel then going to bed for the night, and then wiping the areas with a damp rug the next morning and washing the areas. One problem with the product I had - and that's why I'm giving the review 4 stars instead of 5: the pointed cap I received in the box which was supposed to make spreading the gel easy and efficient had no holes. I tried to puncture the top to make a hole, but just couldn’t even with a knife. So I had to resort to squeezing the gel on a butter knife and spread it over the mold stains to cover them. Which was...an interesting experience I didn’t think I'd have. BUT the stuff really works and it doesn’t require any elbow grease at all. Which means, it's very, very strong. And it's VERY strong chemical-wise. So definitely use gloves and protect your eyes. Your space will smell of a bleach/chlorine-like strong smell. It doesn’t last a day or anything, but the smell is strong. So, that's two things to keep in mind. Will I use the product again? I hope no mold returns but if that ever happens, YES 100% I'll use this. I'll also recommend the Mold Stain Remover Gel Cleaner to everyone else! Also, they're a small, family-run business and I really love that for them. The handwritten thank-you card was a really nice touch. I saved it. I actually save the thank-you cards or notes I receive from real people I buy things from. It feels nice!
