Fantastic quality, experience, sensory stim keyboard
It's hard for me to write a review of this keyboard because it's my first "fun" keyboard and I only recently received my master's degree in keyboard culture (and by that I mean obsessive research over the last week). I'll do my best: Pros: -everything, lights, sound, texture, size options, mod-ability, compatibility with Apple products -I got the white 75 key option with Raspberry switches and the sound sensory satisfaction is insane, it sounds akin to dense plastic pearls falling on each other, typing is very smooth/creamy of a feel and sound; I tried the Mint switch (there are 1 of each switch, Mint, Raspberry, Lemon, included in the package to try) and imo, they are slightly noticeably easier to press than the Raspberry, with no significant difference in sound that I can tell. I went with the Raspberry because I *thought* they sounded thockier in the demo videos I could find online, but in person I think I would have been happy with the Mint in terms of sound. I think I'll change out to the Mints at some point in the future b/c of the easier press, but after a 5 hour type sesh with the Raspberry switches I certainly wasn't feeling any fatigue; might explore the low profile in the future for even less "travel" but I went with full-size for now because I want to change the keycaps once in a while for fun and the full size boards seem to be the ones most companies are making keycaps for right now -VIA app, make sure to use Chrome, once set up and followed instructions online was really easy. I assigned a key using macros to just make a :). So fun! :):):):):):):) -build quality seems really well done, it's heavy, dense, just feels really nice quality -super fun to play with the light settings; my favorite right now is the one where each key lights up when pressed, and the more you type, the more color fills the keyboard in reverse ROYGBIV order until, if you are typing a lot, the keys glow with a molten-lava color -battery life seems on par with what I'd expect from a wireless keyboard -included keycap and switch remover tool is great, thanks! I looked at a variety of other brands, and have only tried Nuphy, but I have no regrets with Nuphy and would return for future products with them based on this. Cons: -I really can't think of any, except it was tricky to select the switch option online because you can't hear what they really sound like in person because everyone's mic set up is different (though I loved that you COULD pick options in a pre-build) -can't find a Nuphy carrying case for the Halo (maybe there is one but I couldn't find it) -the included stickers were cool but felt super random, I didn't get it Not really a con, but would love Nuphy to explore more cozy options, not just gamer options for color ways and design elements. This one is very 80's retro but also modern with the backlighting, would love something for my cottage core aesthetic though. Would really love Nuphy to make a number pad accessory as well. I didnt' want the number pad on this keyboard because that gets big pretty fast, but would like the option for a separate accessory that matches the keyboard to be used when needed. Let me see, what else I can say so I can keep typing on this keyboard...so satisfying... :):):):):) If you're on the fence, I'd say go for it, you'll have no regrets, just enjoy the process of deciding what style/size/etc you want, you won't be disappointed in the quality. Ok last thing: I bought this for productivity needs at work. Do I *need* a new keyboard, absolutely not. Do I *need* some level of dopamine to happen in order to get any kind of work done after fatigue sets in? Absolutely. I imagine the joy of even this keyboard will wear off over time, but for now the sensory satisfaction of using it is helping me complete a bunch of documentation with increased interest and focus, and over time when I need something to rekindle my interest, I can switch out the keycaps for something fun. I got those 5 hours of work done on a Saturday, just enjoying typing. For that reason alone, it's worth it in my book.

just buy it!
i have a lot of nuphy keyboards and they are always high quality, the Halo75 V2 is no exception. hands down, one of my favorite keyboards that i own. all the other colors look very nice irl and have a smooth finish on the top frame. i'm a big fan of the rgb underglow as well. out of box sound is VERY good, modding is not needed but definitely improves the overall sound. i haven't had any issues with the bluetooth in my personal use either so wireless is good.

Good thonky sound and form factor, still holding up pre tty well after 1 year of daily use. Lighting is pretty nice!

worth the investment for studying / typing alot as a student
amazing keyboard, I was skeptical at first because it was a pretty penny and I wanted to invest in something nicer than a regular laptop keyboard. I fell in love immediately with the clicky sounds. 10/10. I stay home to type now though because you can't really take it to the library but it's awesome and worth the investment. :)

Received USED merchandise, nice keyboard
First off, the keyboard is very nice. It sounds amazing and is genuinely very pleasant to type on. That being said this is clearly a used/open box model and that is very bad selling practice. I have received multiple keyboards from Nuphy and i usually like them but it was clear this has been used. - The keyboard had a bunch of non-default lighting profiles on it and odd settings. - It was not in the factory wrapping it usually comes in - the accessories had been very obviously opened and repackaged. - There was quite a bit of dust on a "new" keyboard. - the box had clear signs of previous opening as there wear tears in places an over zealous customer opened it in the past as well as dents in odd places. This item should have been sold as open box, or properly refurbished to be sold as new. I am very disappointed.

I love this keyboard
Typing on this is a super great experience. This keyboard is what made me love linear switches. Sometime the USB 2.4g receiver can be a bit finicky. I've found the trick is to plug it into a USB 2.0 port, not 3.0. I shouldn't have to do this, though.

Perfect
TLDR: I loved it, if you have the funds get it. (Though buy the protection plan just in case) Pros: - Solid feeling board - Via works splendidly - really premium feeling when typing (good thock) - rgb and halo effects are stunning. Cons: - price is a bit high but understandable - I’ve heard that customer service can be a hassle so get the protection through amazon.

Some notable features: 1. The backside Halo light is independent to the keyboard backlight. You can selectively turn it off. 2. My switch selection was Raspberry color which feels similar to Cherry Red but a bit nosier. Not too bad for me. 3. Still retains function key row and ESC is separated from ` key. No more slow down when typing ~/. Yet still compact. 4. Almost instant start up when paired to MacOS. I was using a ROG brand gaming 60% keyboard and it took more than 2-3 seconds to wake up. This one, just instant from sleep. Very cool! 5. 2.4G RF dongle is not plugged into the keyboard out of the box. Needs a specific direction to seat it into the slot safely. 6. I'm not going to game with this keyboard. But N-key rollover is still a nice feature. 7. This keyboard alone improved my productivity on MacOS significantly. A few misc. caveats: 1. A bit heavy: not very travel friendly. But the keyboard cover is sturdy enough for flight luggage with some fabric around it. 2. Keycap is not standard height profile. Could be a bit hard to find 1:1 replacements later when the manufacturer kills the keycap product line. Standard Cherry will work, although not perfectly. 3. Ctrl Opt CMD keys are good for MacOS. But the keyboard has Win/Mac switcher button. Ctrl Opt/Win CMD/Alt dual stencil would have been better. 4. Nuphy.io does not work. Having custom macro capability from manufacturer support would have been nice in this price range. Probably it only works on the newest one (release a couple of weeks ago.) Super nice feature: The stickers!
