Rd-03D 24G Radar Sensor Module Multi-Target Human Motion Trajectory Localization and Tracking Radar Module 8M Detection Onboard PCB Antenna

I have been using different radar sensor modules for various projects such as the HLK-LD2410 (also a great sensor) but found they limited in certain areas such as evaluating trajectories - enter the RD-03D - what a game changer. It easily detects multiple targets simultaneously in real time and can measure the distance/speed and trajectories of the objects using its S5KM312CL chip and built in detection algos. Ai Thinker has lots of documentation available an programming examples to get you started on their website - some is in chinese only but you can pass it thru google translate. Be sure to set your baud rate to 256000 and supply it with 5v - other than that the UART pins are 3 (TX) and 4 (RX) with pin 1 as 5V and pin 2 as ground - nothing else to worry about - easy peasy to connect to an ESP32. Also search on youtube as there are a few example projects people have done (was very helpful getting some details sorted out for me when getting set up) - there are so many use cases for this sensor it makes my head explode with ideas that I just do not have enough time to do myself. I guess I will find the time to at least build a working M314 motion tracker from Aliens and use it to hide from my puppy in the house as we play hide and go seek.
