Wellmax Folding Shopping Cart with Canvas Bag & Cover, Holds 120 lb, Purple

This review is for the Wellmax Folding Shopping Cart with Canvas Bag and Cover. I ordered green, which is my favorite color. I’ve never had a shopping cart before, and I can’t believe how easy it is to use. It’s so unbelievably helpful with hauling groceries from the car to the house. The other day, I only had to make one trip rather than schlepping groceries a zillion times holding plastic bags in my hands in 100° heat. Duh. The thick canvas bag seems durable , and the frame is sturdy. Our breezeway is flagstone, so it’s bumpy, and the cart rolled over it like butter without hanging up, not even once. It rolled easily and smoothly and did not wobble at all. It’s lightweight and easy to fold up, which was a major selling point for me. The attached, sewn-in cover can flap over on the inside or can stay on the outside, but it’s not removable. It also has a wide mesh pouch on the back. I detest putting anything together, but this couldn’t have been easier. It came pretty much assembled with the bag clipped to the frame on all sides. All I had to do was click the swivel, front wheels onto the posts. Really. It was that easy. I don’t care for logos hanging off of me with anything I wear or carry, but the company logo doesn’t bother me for some reason, and it’s yellow and orange. Go figure. I read reviews where some people couldn’t find any replacement parts, so I checked the Wellmax site, and they do have some, such as the swivel, front wheels and a black bag. I don’t remember the price, though. Also, if you want to make sure the cart is opened all the way, place your hand flat in the bottom of the bag and press down. You’ll feel the round metal piece in the middle of the x-frame. Then press the lock down on the bar that goes from back wheel to back wheel. Remember to pop it up with your foot or hand before you fold it up, though. I am thrilled with my purchase and couldn’t be happier. If I manage to break this cute cart, I will order another one without even thinking twice about it. It’s perfect, perfect, perfect.

My new best friend. If you live in an apartment or just need to transport groceries or packages in one trip this is great. Very sturdy, wheels move freely. I live on the 5th floor and it makes unloading from the garage to the elevator a breeze. Everyone should have one. Folds easily and fits in the trunk or closet. It can handle heavy Costco loads too. Good quality.

I keep this in my vehicle for obvious uses. Opens very easy. Once you get the feel of pushing it, maneuvering is not an issue at all. Quick and easy to put together. Just pop the wheels on according to directions. Super easy. Good quality, but frame could be a little sturdier and I wish there was a foldable board that fit in the bottom. Still worth having and it takes up little space.

This cart is fantastic. Large capacity and heavy duty. I was able to bring 6 12 packs of soda and a few other groceries home with no problems. If I had one complaint, it would be that I wish the handles were longer or had an extendable feature.

This is the second cart I have ordered from Amazon and right off the bat I am not as happy with it as I am with my first cart that is many years old (10-15). This new one is stiff. The fabric is stiff and the mechanisms are stiff and difficult to open and close. It's as if it has been stored away for many years and never opened and so is now stuck to tightly closed. Maybe with use it will all soften up and loosen up enough to use without difficulty. this is especially disappointing because I have arthritis in my hands and it is very hard on me to have items that are difficult to operate. I'm afraid I'll pinch my fingers if I have to use my hands to operate this new cart. My old one I don't have to use my hands so much because it operates smoothly and easily and I can use my feet to open and close the movable joints. Thankfully there was no assembly, it is very stable, rolls great and I like the larger size. Opening and closing it is my main problem with it, it's so stiff.

I love this cart so much. It packs up very easily, lightweight. The rotating front wheels makes doing laundry or groceries incredibly less stressful on my body now. But, I had to return my first cart because I noticed the front right wheel wasn’t functioning properly. And then when I got my replacement, the same wheel on the new cart was also having the same issue. So I replaced the wheel on the new one with an old one that was working fine before just to test it out and again, same front right wheel was having an issue. This leads me to believe there’s an issue with the frame itself that causes that specific wheel to act up. But with my new cart I’m still able to use it just as easily if I don’t mind the front right wheel looking a bit wonky at times. Also, because this cart can hold so much weight and has a large capacity, be careful over filling it if you have to bring it upstairs. I completely underestimated how heavy the load I had in the cart was once since it was gliding so easily when I pushed it and I caused a bleed in my eye from how much force I had to use to bring it upstairs. That was completely my fault though, there are ways to avoid that I’m just stubborn. I’m looking into stair climbing wheels for the two back wheels too.
