Leland Reel Co. Classic Trout Fly Reel, 5/6

The reel looks like it will be good for my 6 weight rod. However just like the other comment was expecting a leather reel storage pouch as was advertised but got a cheap cloth/neoprene pouch, not very happy. Why the switch from a reputable company?My original review I gave 3 starsAfter contacting Leland Customer service about this issue I was provided the leather reel case .I feel they went above and beyond to address my concernsI give the Leland Customer service group a 5 star review for their support and concern to make things right.

Disappointed. Leland reels are great, I own more than one. Unfortunately, the vendor decided to ship in a cheap neoprene sleeve instead of the leather pouch.

Beautiful reel. Classic! The type to pass down to your kids.

This is a very good quality click pawl reel. My other reels are antique Hardy Perfects, antique Dingleys etc. I purchased this reel to pair with my Kane Klassics bamboo rod. The aesthetics are spot on. The quality matches, and in some aspects surpasses, that of my antiques. The rim adjuster works well and the click pawl mechanism isn't obnoxiously loud. All parts seem to be finely machined and well finished. The use of brass and the rosewood laminate handle are a nice amenities. This is a reel that should last a lifetime.
