Presto03517 Flip Belgian Waffle Maker

I shopped around and chose this brand. No regrets. Used twice so far and each time belgium waffles are golden perfection as per directions. Yay! Also easy cleanup once it kind of cools off.

I made waffles twice so far. They came out great, cooked evenly and had a nice crisp to them. There is a power indicator light. I like that the instruction booklet includes some recipes and tips because I haven't made waffles in a very long time, actually kind of forgot about them other than frozen ones I tried years ago that I thought were awful. I know I'll use this all the time. It's a plastic casing, too bad, but I guess that's the way anymore.

I do think this was pretty expensive but I have to say it makes great Belgian waffles 🧇. The overflow is very convenient, it heats perfectly. You just need to time it and learn via trial and error. If it had a timer that would be absolute perfection but I love this little kitchen gadget.

I live alone and I have a very small kitchen. I know this maker doesnt have all the bells and whistles that other makers have, but the compact size and easy storage makes this the perfect maker for me. It makes nice thick belgian waffles and the flipping works just fine since the device isnt that big. Nice build quality, just make sure you do proper cleaning on it.

I love this little waffle maker. It works so well. Great value for the price. It cooks the waffles perfectly. You can make them soft or crispy. It's easy to clean. Just over all one of the best at home waffle makers I have used.

*mThe lower end of the time they suggested in the directions was still a little bit too much time and it ended up a little bit too done but other than that it works great, heated up quickly and cooked well. I wish there was a light to say when it’s ready. There was the manufacturer smell but the directions warned about it so hopefully it fades with use.

While I understand the main purpose is for waffles, I am obsessed with watching YouTube videos of all the other things that can be made with a waffle iron. It's the quickest, easiest way to make a really great omelette! Thar's been my main use for it, and I love it.I like the size of this waffle maker compared to much larger ones I have had in the past. It just seems to be a perfect size to me.Instructions are detailed and helpful, though operation is pretty simple and straightforward. I did appreciate the tip to NOT use non-stick cooking spray on the already non-stick surface of the waffle maker.I also appreciate the thought put in to limit the counter space it takes up with the wrap-around cord and vertical storage design. It sits discretely in the corner of my kitchen counter. But it has definitely become my favorite new kitchen appliance.

I am happy with this Presto 03517 Flip Belgian Waffle Maker. It makes thick, 5 1/2" Golden Brown Waffles with a crispy outside and soft inside in just 5 or 6 minutes. The waffle maker heats up quickly and is ready to use within minutes.The PFAS free nonstick surface does a decent job of keeping the batter from sticking, but I found that if I wanted to be able to release the waffle before it got too crispy, a small amount of oil or cooking spray worked best for me, although a different recipe might release easier without the spray. The waffle maker cleans up easily and, due to its smaller size, does not take up too much space on a shelf or in a cabinet.
