I purchased these for TKD sparring. I bought two pairs, one in medium for my shins and one in small for my forearms.1. FIT.I'm 5'10. Both pairs are "just right" in terms of size, although I do prefer somewhat longer guards and would have liked both sizes to be 0.5-1" longer. They are also somewhat narrow, and while this is again "just right", I would have liked them to wrap around a bit more to provide some protection for the muscle.2. PROTECTION.I'm 150lbs and spar with people in the 140-200lbs range. The pads provide very good protection, much better than my old guards. They have a thickening along the middle, which should fall right on the shin bone (or the ulna if you decide to use them for forearms).3. COMFORT.Super light pads, very good fit, comfortable strap. I basically don't feel them at all. The only thing to be mindful of is that they don't dissipate heat and don't absorb any sweat. This is a tradeoff I'm willing to accept, as they are super easy to wash and don't turn disgusting after a few uses.I will update this review in a few months, after I know how they hold up.

Exactly as described. Lightweight, extremely easy to put on. High quality velcro straps gives lots of flexibility if I want the guards to be tight or loose.Product appears to be well made and thoughtfully designed.I'm 6' tall and ordered size XL.Great Fit

Have used them twice for heavy bag training. They are light weight, fit very well and stay in place and feel very durable. Care instructions are included, so you know how to make these last. They aren't bulky and fit easily under track pants. But provide excellent shin protection.

my name is Angel Diaz and This product is AMAZING! The quality of the foam is unmatched, better than anything out there on the market today. These shin guards provide so much protection that it is unreal. I clashed shins with my classmates and i didn't feel a thing. The thick layer of padding protects you and the foam is light. Whistlekick is the BEST!

Really nice fit. Really works to help with the kicking. My shins are really sensitive so when I spar with stronger guys it still hurts (a lot less than without), nothing wrong with these guards. I'm Just too sensitive there.

Poor quality. My shin guards arrived yesterday and one of them arrived with the start of a rip in it. It should have been caught in a quality assurance check. I guess I’ll just start with duct tape on it. Not worth returning it when I need them for class on Monday, so we’ll see how they hold up. Otherwise, they seem thick enough for my martials arts class and easy to put on (thus the 3 stars).

Great fit! I ordered medium and they were a perfect length. I'm 5'4" and have pretty thick legs and had no trouble with the fit. Thicker than pads I had before but they're lighter so you don't really notice them when sparring. I also love that the bright color helps me find them quicker than other pads.

Arrived on time and just as described. Actually purchased for work use to protect my shins while stocking/moving things, the foam is pretty thick so we'll have to see how it fits under my pant leg, however it seems to be quite flexible and plenty of coverage
