How much does it weigh when full?

Im not sure exactly, I never thought about weighing it when full. However, it holds 5 gals then maybe the container itself maybe 1 or 2lbs. It is a heavy but not too heavy to carry from room to room maybe but I guess that may be why it only holds 5 gals. I believe any more would have been to heavy for me to carry without taking breaks and having to sit it down for a sec or 2. lol

What is the purpose of the hot water sink adapter

To fill with hot water from the tap vs hose connection which tends to only run cold
