These electrolyte packets are the cheapest and best option for people who need multiple grams of extra salt per day to manage their chronic illnesses. Not usually one to write a review but i think this deserves an exception. Simply put, I've tried everything, this is the real deal, nothing compares. Tastes good cold (tastes bad hot but who tf would do that??), cheap to buy in bulk, dependable, no artificial sweeteners, it just works. Wish i could buy this stuff by the pallet.

Bottom line: cheaper than competitors, highly effective rehydration, tastes ok at room temp, decent cold, gross hot I am in military flight school and we are flying in the afternoons in the middle of summer in the Deep South. Daily temps are around 100, with high humidity. My flight suit is drenched in sweat before I even make it to the aircraft, then we have to climb around during preflight before spending several hours in a dark green metal box with no AC. My first day I drank a half gallon of water, didn't pee, and had a severe dehydration headache. The second day I used a packet of my wife's Liquid Iv. It helped, but I still had a headache (plus those are expensive). I did some research and I found this product on some Reddit posts about the medical condition known as POTS, it seems to be highly effective in helping their symptoms. At half the price per packet as liquid IV, I ordered 100. My technique is to drink about a half a packet before I leave for the day, drink a big bottle of regular water while we are doing our briefing, refill that, then during preflight I will drink from a cooled blender bottle with the other half of my packet. I will use up my other water bottle during the rest of the flight. I've felt great every day and have not had any symptoms of dehydration despite sweating for about five hours straight every day. This is absolutely a stronger rehydration packet than Liquid Iv. Of course... yes.. it does not taste sweet like other products, it really is just salts. If it's cold, it's not bad at all. At home i keep a pitcher of sweet tea on hand and I have found even just a big splash of it on top of my salty water mix will make it quite palatable. However, if you're in a situation like mine, I would recommend drinking it before it gets warm. If I wait to drink my blender bottle of Trioral and it gets hot in the aircraft, it's kinda like drinking sweat.

I'm not gonna lie, I saw the sodium content and expected it to taste like seawater. It doesn't. It has a very mild flavor to it; I think it would be undetectable in a flavored drink like juice. Just make sure you are actually putting it in a whole liter of fluid like the instructions say. I imagine it would taste super salty in less liquid. Anyway 10/10 and it's helping me hit my sodium goals way more easily!

Some reviewers note a salty taste, however, when you make up a liter or two and refrigerate the mixture, the saltiness is not as noticeable...and you can add your favorite water flavor packets if you wish. The product arrived within two days, as promised, and was well-packaged to protect the box of Trioral. I am very happy with this product!

This is my favorite way to stay hydrated as a person with POTS who struggles to retain hydration without a ridiculously high sodium content. I like to enhance it by combining flavor additives like gatorade or propel powders, or squeezable drink flavors. This has been so much more affordable for me, as I really couldn’t afford liquid IV or LMNT anymore, and nothing else is really as high in sodium with good flavor options. Now my body feels better and I’m hydrated and it doesn’t cost me an arm and a leg!!! The packaging is convenient, i use the markings on the bag to divide up smaller portions for my 16oz water bottle instead of making 1L at a time. It dissolves right away leaving no gross clumps, it doesn’t create a lot of “dust” while pouring the packet like other drink powders can and the ingredients are great. This feels better for my teeth and my body than any other electrolytes i’ve tried. The flavor on it’s own isn’t bad, but might not be tolerable for a lot of people. It is, however, very easy to add whatever flavoring you want (maybe you want to add vitamins, or maybe you want it sweet, fruity, or combined with a little juice!). 10000/10. If you’ve had it before and didn’t like it, I’d recommend experimenting with your preferred flavor additives before sleeping on this product!!! It’s saved me so much money!!! I bought a 15 count to try which lasted a good amount of time, and before i even finished it i bought a 100 count. Stay hydrated!

These deliver a solid amount of salt for a great price. They’ve got just enough sugar to aid electrolyte absorption, but not so much that they taste overly sweet. That said, the sweetness does have a bit of an odd flavor and leaves a slightly weird aftertaste, not quite what I expected. Still, for the cost and how well they work, they’re absolutely worth it, especially if you’re a heavy, salty sweater like me. They get the job done without breaking the bank.
