Q: what is the best filter for long range terrestrial viewing for cutting trough hazy days?? yellow #8 or a good uv filter?

I don't use any filter and I can clearly see the start, planets and ISS when it is passing overhead.

Q: What is the IPD (interpupilary eye distance) that these can be adjusted to?

The instruction manual does not say, but it appears to be from 57 mm to 75 mm as measured. Frank Paca

It is a soft case with a fold over top. It is NOT a hard case as is usual for many Binoculars.Frank

I weighed the binoculars with the neck strap, 2 AA Batteries and 2 size 57 mm protective filters for the front lenses. I made several weights and came up weigh 2.66 pounds
