I’ve been using a retainer for a while and cleaning it was always the part I dreaded most. Pretty low quality product as it stopped working one year after very minimal, occasional use.

Great cleaner, which keeps my aligners really crystal clear! You can physically see the cloudiness coming away when using it. Love that it comes with a basket and pincers to help too. Thinks to improve: - It's very loud compared to other brands I've seen. - It's a little bulky in shape - Maybe having a detachable base would be better otherwise there's a risk of water getting into the cable port - The hinge of the lid has come a bit loose after time, and water that has gotten into it has left some scale / discolouration at the hinge which makes it look a bit dirty. A detachable lid might fix this.

I've used this sonic cleaner for both my dental retainer and for my jewellery. The retainer felt much cleaner in my mouth, & my gold necklace & earrings were visibly clean and sparkles. It's so easy to use & doesn't make that much noise - besides, it's only used for 5mins at a time. Great product. Would recommend.

Purchased in Feb 2025. It doesn’t give a clean as it states in the info. I’ve tried adding in dental tablets and no change. Night time retainer remains stained. In hindsight I’m wondering if upgrading to a competitor brand that was three times the price may have been better.

This is the best thing I have ever purchased from Amazon. I was very skeptical about its effectiveness and was almost sure I’d be returning it. I’ve been wearing my clear retainers all day everyday for over 3 months and it had become a little murky and yellow and no matter how many times I would brush it wouldn’t make much of a difference. Even after the first use there was still quite a bit left but I saw on the instructions it can need multiple usages. After 5 cleans it’s as clear as the day I bought it. For this price it’s a bargain as I was seeing similar products on Instagram for almost £100. Definitely recommend for all those who wear retainers.

Confirming what others have said. It will stop working after a few months. The internals, cable, connections are all terrible.

The product itself it well made and delivery was prompt, as for cleaning, it's does a better job than a toothbrush, and brings up the aligners to a good clean state. It's handy to switch on during the day whilst your having a coffee or lunch, when you have to remove your aligners, it may take 2 go's if you been wearing them for long periods without cleaning. Good product, useful for cleans between meals if at home as well as deeper cleans.
