This sauce is rated at 600,000 scoviell units which is 400,000 less than the Mad Dog platinum I regularly buy. The flavor is awesome as a stand alone snack on crackers and cheese. It's intense, but not insane. Adding to a sauce will not change the flavor but will give you intense heat you will absolutely love. If you think Tabasco sauce is hot, this may be too much for you. I snack on crackers with Habanero cheese with this sauce on it and it is absolutely wonderful! I also use the million scoviell units for adding to sauce's and varies foods so I love intense heat. Many hot sauces have horrible taste as manufacturers concentrate on heat rather than taste, but this one tastes wonderful. A slight hint of pepper but not over powering makes this a wonderful taste that won't over power what ever you add it too. It simply enhances the flavor bringing a heat that amplifies the flavor and sends your taste buds into a glory of heavenly proportions. This is one of the best hot sauces you can buy but please keep in mind, its hot hot hot, not for the mild hot lover. The seller is accurate in its description, and I highly recommend for anyone who loves very very hot food.

Great hot sauce to mix with other hot sauce. Excellen flavour.

I love hot sauce, and this sauce is hot. Over the past few years I have increased by spice tolerance to a point that habanero peppers are no longer spicy to me, and most hot sauces I try no longer make me say "wow, that is a spicy hot sauce!" - This hot sauce does that... this is a very spicy hot sauce. The thing is, most spicy sauces these days taste terrible, the sauce is simply an edible savory after-thought intended to transport the heat to your mouth. Not so with this sauce, the flavor is great, and the burn is very real. Expect at least 30 minutes of saying to yourself, "wow, that was hot!" People unaccustomed to spicy food might think that this is liquid fire in a bottle - wouldn't offer this sauce to my grandma.

I love heat! i grow ghost peppers, Trinidad scorpions, reapers, scotch bonnets, etc, and make hot sauces out of them, so I'm no rookie to spicy things. That being said, this stuff is HOT. If you plan to open and use it like i did, there is a reason it comes with the little spoon. At the end of the day though, the heat is great and nice to put in things, however the flavor doesn't make grade. I seems like it almost has a taste like someone put a lot of liquid smoke in it or something? its not that enjoyable. Since the heat is so nice though, I've taken to adding it to other sauces to bring the heat up on sauces i like the flavor of more.
