This brush is fantastic for getting kinks out of extremely curly hair. The flexible feature of the brush is nice because it gives more leverage when getting out the toughest kinks.

I purchased a Curly Hair Brush for my bi-racial son, who has curly but thin/fine hair. He wanted a brush he could use in the shower to help massage and clean his scalp while washing his hair. The brush fits nicely in his hand and is very comfortable to use. It does an amazing job at detangling and acts as a flexible scalp brush. The wide spaces between the teeth and the long, strong bristles are perfect for his hair type. This well-made and durable brush doesn't cause any tugging and is much more comfortable to use compared to a standard brush. Not only does my son really like it, but it also seems to help keep his hair looking good and his scalp clean, reducing the appearance of dandruff.

I have weird wavy hair that's very fine and always tangled. I also travel A LOT for work so I was looking for a solution that addressed my hair issues..but was compact in size. I love this thing! Fits my hand perfectly and is so comfortable to use. Brushes out my tangles with hardly any damage.

All I can say is Wow. I have never had a hairbrush like this one. This Manta Kinks, Coils, and Curls Curly Hair Brush is amazing. My hair is a kinky 3A Afro Hair.This is a detangling and a very flexible scalp brush. When I first used this brush, the shape of it fits right into my hands perfectly. Before I used I dampened my hair and oiled it then proceeded to use this brush and did not want to stop. Whoever invented this brush I thank you. I love how it is made. It is designed with wide spaces between the teeth, long strong bristles, and oh-so-flexible curly hair curls.Also a plus I use it on my curly hair wigs too. This is a game changer Manta. I am a baby boomer with thinning hair, breakage, and all that goes with it. I tell you what I did not lose a strand with this brush. I will be using this brush daily. I was not using a brush before this because it caused it to break more. Now with Manta, I will use this brush daily, and with the massage girl, it is to die for. It also comes in a travel pouch.All I can say is share one with your family members and they will love you for it.

I am not the suggested hair type for this brush (I have white girl banana curls), but wanted to test it out on different hair types and was happy with it overall.I love the way this brush feels on my scalp and it does do a good job detangling. It does make my hair crazy frizzy if I brush it when it's dry, but that's true of any brush. The 'handle' feels awkward to me and I wish it had a more traditional handle, or maybe no handle at all but not flared out on the edges.My daughter with straight white girl hair doesn't get as much frizz from the brush but doesn't like the hand hold either.The price ($35) seems crazy high in comparision to other hair brushes and I can't tell any reason that it would be worth that much. We have a fairly similar brush we bought from amazon that cost less than $10 and while it isn't *quite* as nice as this one, it's nicer to hold on to and it certainly isn't worth that big of a difference in my opinion.Overall this will do the job on many hair types but isn't real comfy to use.

I didn't expect much from this "Manta Kinks, Coils & Curls Curly Hair Brush", but I tried it on my wet hair saturated with moisturizer and it combed through and detangled my hair with ease. It raked through my curls without damaging my hair and helped to produce well-defined curls. It also gave a scalp massage as I combed through my hair. I like that it is compact and includes a little storage bag, and that it was fairly easy to clean.My only problem with this, is that it claims to be suitable for wet or dry curls, but I wouldn't recommend trying to rake through dry curls with this brush, especially 4b or 4c curls. I recommend using this only on wet hair that has conditioner, moisturizer, or a detangling cream.

I'm using this for my son for his curly hair and it works great. Doesn't seem to get tangled up at much as other brushes we've tried which reduces the complaining about hitting snarls and it being uncomfortable. I would recommend.

Bought this brush for my curly haired partner, and they really like it.A lot of the time, after dry brushing, their hair can become a bit frizzy but it was better with this and the curls stayed more definedAs a Manta user myself, it was great to see that this brush had the same flexibility and travel bag too
