The 1/35 scale in addition to amazing detail take the price up substantially. Check out the online videos to see if it's worth the cost to you. This is a serious undertaking. I made mine for my cousin that flew Chinooks in Vietnam.

Q: How long is the Chinook?

The body is 12 to 14 inches in length & the blades add another 6 to 8 inches in overall length. I gifted the one I built so don't have it here for exact measurements. It does require a large stage setting to allow for those blades.

This model has a ton of detail - cargo door down is no problem.
