Bought this based on the recommendation of my colleagues. Fantastic monitor with blue light filter, significantly reduces viewing fatigue. Totally worth buying!

Fine monitor with vesa mount and blue light adjustment

Avoid if you care about quality! This is one of the highest rating I have seen for a budget monitor. Yes it serves the purpose for eye care and specs, BUT, the brightness at 40% at my laptop and my second monitor is at 100% for this!!!!! Unfortunately, it doesn't serve me well during day time although I have no direct sunlight to my office. In addition resolution feels 420p rather than HD.

I am using this monitor for watching movies, working, and playing games. Everything works perfectly and the eye-care tech is visible, my eyes are less tired than when using other monitors or when looking at the screen of my laptop. The build-in audio works just fine, I would not say that is Bose-level, but it is good. Very easy to mount and very lightweight so it can be moved very easily but anyone. I highly recommend this monitor.

I looked up several “top picks” lists before choosing this BENQ monitor. The brand was top-ten on several lists, and the budget pick on a couple. It did not disappoint. The color and resolution are very good.

Setup was easy. Color is natural out of the box. Sharpness looks great. Screen looks uniform, no blotches of light or darkness.

This is the second BenQ - exactly the same monitor (GW2790) because I am so happy with my first one which I have had for about 4 months. Easy to connect them to my single HDMI Lenovo Legion 5 laptop, which between putting the monitor together and connection was about 5 minutes. (Using a dock with USB-C to HDMI - I left a pic because I am sorta new and know seeing it for a new person is easier than just using words they are unfamiliar with) Second monitor > USB C dock > laptop > HDMI > Wall socket/First monitor > HDMI > laptop > Main power supply > Wall socket. I have so much real estate I don't have the laptop open and it's out of the way. I really love the simplicity and the functionality. I like things simple - less things to break. I do not game at all so if you see I did not rate gaming - that's why. But for Tableau, Excel and working on BigData, I like the 27" Dual set up as it will enhance my productivity 100-fold. Simple setup 5Stars, Affordability 5Stars, Connectivity 5Stars, Functionality for data 5Stars, EyeCare 5Stars.
