Not bad, but difficult to crimp, and not particularly sturdy. Locking tab prevents easy removal.
These flag-type spade terminals and insulating sleeves are fairly well made, but the metal is not especially thick (.4mm), and they are easy to bend. A problem I found that I had not anticipated was the difficulty of crimping the terminals onto the wire. This is because the body of the terminal gets in the way, being at right-angles to the sleeve. The same is probably true of all such terminals. I was able to crimp the wire insulation with a crimping plier, but had to improvise to crimp the conductor. I ruined a few working this out. These are locking terminals, with a small raised tab that hooks under the hole found in most male spades and makes it impossible to remove without the use of force and consequent damage to the terminals and/or component. They can be released by the use of a pin to push the tab clear, but this can be fiddly, and in my case not an option, because i wanted to use the terminal in a block connector. I used a 1.5mm pin punch to flatten the tab- quite a simple operation, but vital in this case.Unfortunately, this design of terminal doesn't have the larger tab to retain it in a block, so it is not really the right type for my purposes, but I managed to use it successfully. All three terminals were quite loose in the block, and benefitted from seating fully with a screwdriver. These terminals will do the job, and are not expensive at £7.49 for a box of 100, should you need that many.
