Great sweet chili dipping sauce, lime LEAF, not LIME
Makrut Lime Leaf Flavoured Chilli Sauce x 12- ยฃ23.40 At just under ยฃ2 it's a decent price, though quite what you need 12 for is another argument. A 3 or 6 pack may make more sense. It's good quality, well packaged and i certainly trust it. The lime leaf is INTERESTING - It's NOT lime, but a spice flavour. If you've had or used it in cooking, then you know what it is and if that flavour fits you palet. If you don't then buying 12 bottles on a taste test is going to be a bold move. I do. I love it and in testing a lot of friends liked it, particularly with the sweet style dipping chili sauce, works great with a hard cheese, but it's also going to be a bit of a marmite type thing, and with the chili, similarly.

Lovely Chilli sauce
I just love chilli sauce and this being not something I've tried before, was excited to see what it's like. You get a case of 12 bottles which no matter how much you like chilli sauce should last a long time. I would say this is quite mild which is perfect for me, as I can then use a lot more. I can taste the lime which gives it a bit of a fruity chilli flavour. So far I've been using it in cooking, as a dip and also adding with a bit of mayo, to make another kind of dip. I must say I really like and I'm pleased for the 12 bottles which means I can use as much as I like. Recommended.

Pleasant sweet chilli sauce
In terms of spiciness, this sauce is mild, and there is quite a lot of sweetness there. The lime leaves are clearly discernable, giving definite citrus notes, and there's a bit of sesame flavour in the background. Those looking for heat would be advised to try something else, but this is a pleasant change from a generic sweet chilli sauce, and is unlikely to be too hot for any except the most chilli-averse. It's worth noting that this is a pack of 12 bottles, with a 6-month best before date, so it would be best suited to households or business that use a fair bit of sauce.

Split the pack with the community!
Really like this dipping sauce, but would say it's an acquired taste and not necessarily as 'safe' an option as a universally liked sauce like sweet chilli / Sriracha sauce. 12 bottles definitely not to be bought for one, but over Chinese New Year they made a sweet thoughtful present so ended up being great. Sauce itself isn't spicy hot at all, the lime leaf is a tangy citrusy kind which ends up taking most of the spice away. Quite like it in a chicken marinade/curry but quite a niche sauce to use in my opinion. Bottle is small (as pictured with remote for reference)

Leafy taste
The first time I've tried using this sauce was on a burger and the flavour wasn't really to my liking. I was expecting a lime and chilli flavour but the lim leaf did taste like I was eating a leaf with no signs of chilli. The flavour is too concentrated to use as a dipping sauce but after trying as a marinade it had less of a leafy taste. I love the soy sauce and sesame oil from this brand but this sauce didn't leave a good first impression for me.

It's Sweet
This is a sweet sauce and might not be to everyone's taste. I'm generally not a lover of sweet sauces but this one is forgiven. It has a nice balance of heat v sweetness, with a nice kick of lime to finish off. The sugar content make for a thick sauce, which is my preference. It does taste hot but for did hard chilli fans it might be too cold. Nonetheless it is a fine tasting product which can be used for seasoning or dipping, or even just slavered over your chips. Such is the versatility of all sauce chilli. All bottles are well sealed and at about two pounds a bottle represents good value for money. Quality sauces can cost money so this one is nicely priced.

tasty but you really have to like chilli sauce to need this much
the chilli sauce from LKK a reputable brand of asian sauces and condiments is very nice and the lime while a little artificial adds a nice twist to the flavour profile. we've enjoyed this on all of the things we'd normally have chilli sauce with and it works well with them all still. it's a perfectly valid alternative to the original that's well worth giving a try if you fancy something a little different. though i'd caution against buying 12 bottles at once before you try it, just in case. :)

Mild chili heat with tasty lime leaf flavour
The lime leaf chilli sauce, is really tasty as a dipping sauce. The bottles are quite small, but as a pack of 12 you get loads. The chilli sauce tastes very similar to a sweet chilli dipping sauce, but with a good hit of the lime leaf flavour at the end. It isn't very spicy, and as someone who is not good with anything hot and can't handle most chilli sauces, I find this one a good level of heat for me.
